Here is How I made delicious pizza without sauce

I learnt that pizza without sauce is called pizza Bianca. Does this qualify for pizza Bianca? Although there was no red pizza sauce, we added a little mayonnaise and tomato ketchup before placing the pizza topping. We used suya (Beef suya) for this pizza. Delicious! There are many different pizza recipes posted here and they all taste great with their different flavours.

We made this yummy pizza without sauce in no time because normally, I’ll leave the dough to rest for about ten minutes while we make our homemade pizza sauce (Recipe below) but this time we didn’t have to make any sauce. The mayonnaise, ketchup, and suya (Nigerian beef jerky) were all we needed to turn out a great pizza recipe.

I used very few ingredients for my pizza without sauce.

INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoon instant yeast

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

200 ml warm water

 

INGREDIENTS USED AS PIZZA TOPPING

Green pepper

Onion

Cabbage and tomato found in the suya wrap

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

3 teaspoons oregano

5 Sandwich Cheese wraps

2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise were mixed together and spread on the pizza  crust.

 

Easy recipe for HOW TO MAKE PIZZA WITHOUT SAUCE

  • First Sieve flour into a bowl
  • Next add the salt, sugar and yeast. Mix add the oil and warm water. Mix well to form a dough.
  • Leave the dough to rest in a greased bowl for about 10 minutes or more.
  • After the dough had rested for 10 minutes, we flattened it.
  • Grease the pizza tray, sprinkle on some garri, semolina or polenta and shake off the excess.
  • Place the flattened dough on the  pizza tray and spread to form the crust and flattened more because the yeast will make it rise while baking.
  • Spread the mixture of mayo and ketchup, then the shredded vegetables. Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, thyme and 2 teaspoons of oregano on the vegetables. . add the cheese now.
  • Lastly, place the suya on the cheese, sprinkle in the last teaspoon of oregano and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven or bake till it browns to your desired taste.
  • Cut and enjoy. We meet at the gym tomorrow morning. See you there.
