HOW TO GROW LONGER HAIR WITHOUT STRESS

Here is how to grow longer hair without stress.

Most women are willing to shop anything that promises long, lustrous hair, a lot of ladies have been deceived because of the desperation to grow natural long hair, they have been made to believe that you need to rub this outrageously expensive ointment or take that very expensive supplement. While some seem to help, many see no difference after taking all these hair supplements.

Some positive effects don’t really last long before the hair starts to break again. Hair’s biggest enemy is breakage. The reason your hair seem like it stopped growing is breakage.

If you can conquer this common enemy, your hair will have you to thank. Good hair doesn’t happen by magic even though some people and some cultures have longer hair naturally, you can also help your supposedly short hair to grow longer than you’ve always seen it grow.

When you comb or brush the hair and see hair particles stuck in your hair brush, that’s the tears, your tender hair asking to be rescued.

The hair is a living organ than should grow and live happily, when that  satisfactory hair growth is not seen, then you need to act. Do something to help your weak and hungry hair bounce back to live and flourish.

The hair can be fuller and when you feed the hair with what it needs, you see a noticeable physical difference. Just the way a baby grows stronger if well fed, our hair too gains stronger roots and flourishes when we feed it the right food.

For your hair to grow fuller and stronger, it needs some healthy fats. We have been made to believe that fats aren’t good for humans but don’t forget that not all fats are bad.

WHAT TO EAT FOR STRONGER FULLER HAIR:

There are healthy fats too and there are foods that can provide our bodies with healthy fats.

Eat foods like avocados, groundged.

To help grow longer and fuller hair, look for a shampoo that’s best for your hair type. When you shop shampoos and hair conditioners at the hairdressing salon, most times, even when the experts know what’s great for your hair type, they can only sell that to you if it’s available.

If what you need is out of stock or not readily available, the sellers won’t let you leave with your money.

They’ll prescribe another shampoo in the shelf and that’s how you pay, take the shampoo and conditioner home and then see that there is no difference.

Even after spending that much to grow long hair. Then you complain, and still get prescribed hair products that are available in their shop and the cycle continues until you give up on trying to grow stronger, fuller, more beautiful lustrous hair.

As black women, there are hair products that are great for black hair and others that may not be too great.

These shampoos are good for black hair:

1. Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoonuts, coconuts, aya nuts (Tiger nuts) and other nuts we know.

Olive oil, oily fish like mackerel, catfish and other forms of oily fish, groundnut oil, eat mayonnaise instead of margarine, take cod fish liver oil, These foods even though have cholesterol, the type of cholesterol they have is good cholesterol.

They are monounsaturated fats and help to raise good cholesterol while lowering bad cholesterol. These foods help fix the hair roots, get them oiled just like the car engine needs oil to run freely and smoothly.

When we eat these foods regularly, they can act as natural supplements to the hair.  The oil helps to protect the hair from breakage.

USE GOOD SHAMPOOS THAT HELP GROW FULLER HAIR:

When we go to the hairdressing salon, most times, what is used for every customer is just one type of shampoo and same type of hair conditioner.

woman’s hair is different and requires a different kind of treatment to grow well. Using the same shampoo and conditioner on everyone’s hair doesn’t help when one needs stronger or fuller hair.

There are different hair types on every woman’s head. Some have dry and frizzy hair, some women have naturally moisturized hair, some have naturally oiled and fuller hair that even tend to cause hair issues like dandruff if not properly mana

2. Macadamia Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo.

3. Creme of Nature Argan Oil Sulfate-Free Moisture & Shine Shampoo

4. Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo.

If you live in Nigeria and don’t know where to shop them,  you can find on Jumia too by following the links below…

TAKE THE RIGHT MULTIVITAMIN AND HAIR SUPPLEMENT:

Taking the right multivitamin and good hair supplement can go a long way in making a big difference. Naturally, African black hair does not grow really long, our natural hair is woolen and tends to bounce backwards or inwards while growing.

Sometimes we need to pull with our fingers to know the actual length of the hair. Leaving it to struggle on its own may not yield great results. Our hair needs extra care.

There are good supplements for hair. Deficiency in certain minerals can weaken the hair and cause breakage.

Most times and as we grow older, our bodies can not get everything it needs from food, we need to supplement with multivitamins.

Good multivitamins for hair are:  Biotin, Niacin and large doses of Vitamin C. When you buy multivitamins, check that they have Biotin. Glutathione (Gluta white sold on Amazon)

Gluta white supplement sold on Jumia contains more than enough Biotin, enough to help hair and nail growth. Taking a daily dose of vitamin C 1000 mg is also great. Mason Natural Vitamin C and other great ones are available on Amazon and Jumia. I take Mason Vitamin C.

A daily dose of Vitamin C taken with multivitamins containing Biotin, will give your hair the results you have been searching for. Eggs also have biotin in small amounts. (Biotin (Vitamin B 7) does wonders not only to the hair, but to skin and nails too.

One symptom of biotin deficiency is hair loss and dry skin. I shared a post last week on what happened when I tried taking Gluta white supplements.

USE THE RIGHT BRUSHES AND COMBS FOR YOUR HAIR TYPE:

Using the wrong hair brush can do more harm and damage to your already suffering hair.

Combing long hair with combs meant for short hair can get the hair entangled in the comb and that can lead to breakage.

Using combs like afro comb meant for long hair to comb short hair will not yield good results and may not properly loosen tangled hair during combing.

Those with curly frizzy natural hair should never use a brush on their hair. Instead use a wide tooth comb like the afro comb or use detangling combs.

Do not brush natural hair when it’s wet, use a comb instead. Over brushing and over combing can put physical stress on your hair, when you brush or comb the hair, do it gently and not too many times. Over brushing can break your hair.

See you showing off your stronger hair soon! Thanks for  reading how to grow long hair without stress.
