How To Cook Less Expensive Nigerian Fried Rice.  A plate of less expensive fried rice with chicken.

Fried rice has many cooking methods. This less expensive one came when
my girls told me point blank that if I add peas, kidney beans, sausages or liver, they are not going to eat. They are tired of me adding too many vegetables to their fried rice. 
I promised to cook with just cabbage and carrots. That’s exactly what I did and they ate like never before.

Fried rice doesn’t have to be loaded with veggies, it can be cooked kind of plain with a few vegetables.

frying pan, I stopped posting dishes I cook with it. I had taken and uploaded the pic before remembering. Will try not to post with it again. I actually tried to remove all the black with an iron sponge but some stubborn black refused to go.
 

Ingredients:  How To Cook Less Expensive Nigerian Fried Rice

  1. Water enough to cook rice and boil chicken for stock.
  2. 3 cups Rice
  3. 1 tablespoon Curry
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 teaspoon Benny seasoning 
  6. 1 medium sized Onion
  7. 5 cups shredded Cabbage 
  8. 3 medium sized Carrots
  9. 1kg Chicken
  10. Soya oil to deep fry chicken and to stir fry vegetables.

Very affordable fried rice with chicken

The yellow colour depends on tghe type of curry used. Ducross gives very bright colour. To cook your normal fried rice,  add boiled and fried cow liver, sausages, green beans, peas, red kidney beans, shrimps, sweet corn and other vegetables you like. Please, for lovers of tomatoes, no tomato in fried rice!

  1. Eya pls could u help me Ŵi̶̲̅τ d recipe and the step for frying τ̲̅ђis snack, on the Island in Lagos where i grew up its popularly called 'MOSA ONI SUGAR'! Its different frm dat oda type of MOSA made out of Over Riped Plantain!

    This Particular type of MOSA is white in colur i think its made out of white corn after grinding, den they usually sprinkle some sugar on before eating!

    Pls help me Hλ√ƺ tried making it but i didnt get the result afta frying!

I will try this because my son doesn't like vegetables in rice.he tells me to remove them or bring another plate of rice without them.I made meatpie last week.wasn't bad at least they finished it.but please aunty Eya be putting measurement of ingredient becos I think I didn't put enough butter to d flour.tnx

  4. That rice with 3 pieces of chicken kept me wondering… Aunty Eya, do you feed your girls with 3 piece of chicken at a go?

    If so, they'll be ripe for marraige before they're 15.
