Another egusi soup recipe using fresh tomatoes, tatashe and vegetables

 

Here is another egusi soup recipe we made using fresh tomatoes, tatshe, and green vegetables (Ugu leaves).

Just like that, my boy wanted egusi cooked with tomatoes. Our old egusi soup recipes on were cooked without tomatoes, then I tried adding tomatoes hand got stuck on the delicious taste. When I got addicted to adding tomatoes to egusi soups, didn’t know my  family will join me in no time. We have shared so many egusi soup recipes here already and they are all really delicious. I mentioned in my last egusi soup with tomatoes post that recently, I began to enjoy the taste of tomatoes in my egusi soups and have since been serving that to my family.  They all love this tomato flavour in egusi soup.

We added tatashe (Red bell peppers) in this pot.

This is not a new recipe. I used our stewy egusi soup recipe to make it. Followed that recipe step by step and it turned out just how I wanted it. The only difference is that here we made egusi lumps whereas that was cooked without egusi lumps. ll our egusi soups cooked using tomatoes, are categorised on this egusi soups group.
