HOW TO GET RID OF COCKROACHES

Hello ma. I need help with eradicating cockroaches in my kitchen cabinets and the whole house like forever. We do fumigate the house from time to time. After fumigation, there is peace and quiet for a while, then the creepy insects return again.

They give me the creeps ma. I can stand any other insect but not roaches. Sniper has been helping us for some time now but we need a permanent solution to cockroaches.

There are two types of cockroaches in most houses in Nigeria and I think both species are in my house. The fat ones are easy to kill but the tiny fast running ones hardly die. The only insecticide that works for those tiny cockroaches is sniper. Every other one is a play. I don’t want sniper constantly in my kitchen because of stubborn cockroaches.

I need help to get rid of these cockroaches. Is there a way to eradicate cockroaches forever please?

MY REPLY TO THE MAILER:

See how to get rid of cockroaches forever… How to get rid of ants too.

Hello. Sorry about cockroaches. Those insects are everywhere. In my house we managed to keep them off and I pray this lasts forever. I also hate the idea of keeping sniper and other insecticides permanently in the house because of these dangerous crawling insects.

Can I share my three tips to permanently eradicate cockroaches and other insects?

Sniper insecticide does help but they return with time. What I did that has brought a lasting cockroach and ant solution is:

HOW TO GET RID OF COCKROACHES FOREVER:

  1. The addition of jik and detergents to mopping buckets. From the day that my family made bleach a ;permanent mopping liquid, insects like that have fled my house. During the dry season, we used to see ants around walls on days like Sunday when no one cares about mopping the floors. We return from church to see ants around corners sometimes with tiny sand from where I don’t know but, all that has stopped like permanently. You have to invest on jik or other good bleaching agents like hypo and then detergents like Ariel too. We add Ariel and Jik tpo mopping water daily and I hope to continue that way for as long as I keep seeing these good results. For a small mopping bucket, you can add about three capfuls of jik bleach and some Ariel detergent. Mop and even after the floor is dry, these insects can’t come back. I guess it’s the smell of the floor that keeps them off. They don’t even dare.
  2. Before the use of detergents and bleaches for mopping, ensure that you have fumigated the house. Kill both crawling and flying insects, clean your kitchen cabinets of dead cockroaches and then watch jik and Ariel do the remaining work of ensuring the house is free of these insects.
  3. Clean, clean, clean. Do not go to bed without cleaning the kitchen sink and leaving it dry. No food or dirty plates in the sink. They crawl out when you sleep, they feed from the dirty plates in the kitchen sink. The cooker, the cabinets and the floors should be cleaned before you retire to bed. That way the stubborn ones starve to death and leave your kitchen alone.
  4. Keep the kitchen waste bin outside. The day I decide to remove the waste bin from under the sink and keep permanently outside was the day my redemption started. The kids hate that idea so much. They won’t stop complaining about how mummy “likes to make people work unnecessarily by opening doors just to throw away fruit peels” Lol. I also go out to dispose of my waste no matter how small. The only time we keep any waste bag in the kitchen is when cooking. As soon as the cooking is done, everything is packed into the tiny waste bag and taken out of the kitchen immediately. Those waste bins under the sink are what feeds cockroaches at night, especially when they are not emptied before bed time. These insects crawl in there while everyone is sleeping. They feed full and grow fat from the waste bin under your sink. That is where they celebrate night christmas daily. They quickly hide before you wake up in the morning.

This is what I do to get rid of cockroaches forever. If anyone has other tips, please share with us.
