Thank you.
Mrs Morgan.
Dear blog readers.
Please help a mom that needs to know what to take to fix breast milk production. I never had any food for breast milk production maybe because naturally I tend to take lots of fluids.
I drink any kind of sweetened water or juice. Kunu drink too I think helps to boost breast milk production if you drink it on a full stomach.

  1. What worked for me was Pap and something hausas call Tsamiya(dont know the name in English)
A God sent lady gave me in the hospital during my first, and since then it works like magic.the milk will flow and overwhelm u.
Make the pap thick then mix the tsamiya water(its very sour)in it.

  3. Pap and lots of tea… Drink enough liquid. But pap does a lot of magic for me though. And again eat lots of solid food inbtw like pounded yam or fofo.. It goes straight to the breast milk, and makes it full! Hope u're not watching ur weight shall… Lol

  5. Take lots of fluids eg water through the day and make sure your meals are nutritionally balanced. You can only produce what you take in.
Again, the myth that you must take in lots of milk to produce milk is mere fallacy.

  6. Funny enough I was looking this up a few days ago on google as I have the same problem.
Apparently what works for A does not work for B. I found drinking lots water all through the day helps, eating small meals often, resting/sleep, oatmeal/porridge, get the baby to suck often and for longer because the demand determines the supply of milk.

  7. Queen B I'd appreciate if you can take a shot of the Tsamiya and make a post out of it. I'll really need it.
@Mrs Morgan, pap works well. I've not taken pap in the last one week tho and my factories have been flowing so much I wish I had twins(soaks my breastpad, padded bra and then my dress). Aside pap I make sure I drink atleast 3 liters of water and lotsssss of tea everyday.
Please don't diet. Eat lots of fiber. Have you started taking supplements? I plan getting Pregnacare Breastfeeding this week to replace my clinic drugs.
Let's do this together dear;exclusive all the way

  10. Brewer's yeast, taste nasty and takes some getting used to, and Guinness, Guinness is an age old remedy for bringing on breast milk. I am not sure how much, but just half a bottle should do, as for frequency, I don't know.
