Homemade Beef and Sausage Pizza

This here is my homemade beef and sausage pizza. The pizza is my best yet. It turned out so delicious that I don’t know what I did more right this time. S quick search of this blog shows that we have so many homemade pizza recipes already but this has to also be shared let people follow me enjoy it’s great taste.

INGREDIENTS FOR MY BEEF AND SAUSAGE PIZZA

DOUGH INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 300 ml warm water

 

HOMEMADE PIZZA SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 grilled sausage chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup cooked beef pieces or  minced beef
  • Any other pepper of choice (Optional)
  • 1/2 seasoning cube
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

 

INGREDIENTS FOR THE HOMEMADE PIZZA TOPPINGS

  • Cheese
  • 1 frankfurt sausage chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

 

MAKING THE PIZZA DOUGH
  1. Add all the dough ingredients in a bowl and mix with your hand or a wooden spatula.
  2. When ingredients have all mixed into a dough ball, you can knead with your hands for just 2 minutes.
  3. Cover and leave for at least 10 minutes.

 

MAKING THE HOMEMADE PIZZA SAUCE IN NIGERIA
  1. Add the oil in a pot.
  2. Next is the diced onion, tiny pieces of beef, chopped peppers, seasoning, thyme, oregano and stir until the pot becomes fragrant.
  3. Put in the chopped grilled frankfurt sausage and stir.
  4. Add the mayo and ketchup and mix. Check for taste and leave to cook in low heat for just a minute. You need the vegetables fresh. Turn off the heat and leave the pot open while you get the dough set in the pizza tray. Homemade beef and sausage pizza sauce is ready for us

 

FINAL PIZZA STEPS NIGERIAN STYLE

  1. In a greased baking pan or pizza tray, sprinkle in some polenta, or garri or corn meal. Shake it to remove excess from the pan.
  2. With a rolling pin, Flatten the pizza dough that has been waiting. Place on the tray and shift to the sides. Tuck in the dough on the sides to form the pizza crust.
  3. Place some ketchup about 4 tablespoons on the middle of the flattened dough and moving in circles, spread the tomato ketchup tpo every corner of the pizza dough.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce generously, as much as you like
  5. Place your cheese and finally the chopped sausage. Spread them beautifully on the pizza and sprinkle on a little oregano before dashing in the oven.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven  for 20 minutes or till you are satisfied with the doneness.
  7. Cut and enjoy the delicious homemade beef and sausage pizza stamped Nigerian by me.So, We meet and greet at the gym after indulging. Let the kids eat more, just take a slice and you’ll be good. I couldn’t stop without clearing  two slices, but felt guilty after that.
