I know someone that has never had the luck of peeling a boiled egg smoothly and with ease. It’s either that the egg white is scratched or she gets the whole boiled egg bruised while struggling to peel (Don’t worry, I won’t mention your name).

All that egg peeling stress ended the day I introduced my friend to easy egg peeling techniques. She can’t stop thanking me.

  3. Add baking soda to the water.
  4. Cook the eggs in an instapot for 9 minutes and they just peel with ease.
  5. You can let the water boil first before gently dropping in the eggs using a spoon. After you drop in the eggs, wait five minutes for nicely boiled eggs. 10 minutes for hard boiled eggs. Remove and put in cold water. Peel your eggs immediately and enjoy smooth skin egg white.
  6. When you drain the hot water after eggs are cooked, don’t let them dry up with membranes. Add cold water and ensure the cooked eggs stay in water till you are ready to peel.
  7. Wash eggs with detergent and rinse before boiling. They cook without getting messy in the pot and peel easily too.
  8. After boiling, crack just enough of the egg to slide a teaspoon underneath the egg shell. Then slide it right off.
