This is racism happening right here in Nigeria. According to a Punch correspondent that visited the restaurant, the restaurant located on 21B, Emina Crescent, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, revealed they do not serve Nigerians. A user on social media took to Twitter to reveal the restaurant only serves Chinese folks, further findings however revealed that Nigerians and other Blacks are allowed in if they are accompanied by a Chinese.
The Punch reporter who visited the restaurant was met at the gate by a guard in Army combat camouflage.
“Who are you looking for?” the guard, a Nigerian, asked.
When the reporter responded that he wanted to order Chinese cuisine, he was refused entry. The restaurant according to report, operates from 11am to 10pm daily.
A restaurant official, who spoke with the reporter who had asked to speak with the manager said; “The manager is not around.
“Since you’ve dropped your card, I can assure you that he will call you to respond to your questions.”
