To keep your skin looking youthful and fresh, you need to work at it. Doesn't happen by magic but it's very possible and exciting. A youthful and fresh look is very important as we age. There are some basic
things we can do to keep our skin looking great at all times.
These eleven points listed below can keep your skin young and wrinkle free.
1. Drink lots of water to keep your skin looking young and wrinkle free. Water restores, flushes out toxins and helps maintain balance on the skin. Drinking water regular is great, do not wait to be thirsty before taking a gulp or glass of water. If you can, drink at least 8 glasses of water daily and keep the skin moisturised. Once the skin is kept moisturized, it glows and stays wrinkle free. A dry skin can easily begin to wrinkle the  same way grapes turn to raisins when they are dry of moisture. Raisins are actually wrinkled grapes and that happens when moisture is removed. Water keeps you hydrated and full and wrinkle free.

2. Get enough sleep. Sleep at least 7 hours per day/night.

3. Get enough rest. The body has worked on this planet for all these years and deserves some kind of rest. Do not overwork at this age, let the body rest, if you are not retired from active service, find time after close of work and on weekends to rest and feel great.

4. Diet. Eat healthy, eat carefully. To maintain a beautiful looking skin at this age, eat healthy, eat lots of fruits, especially greens and vegetables. Avoid sugar completely if you can, if not cut down on your sugar intake, eat more of proteins,  fruits and vegetables than carbohydrates and watch the skin begin to glow.

 4. Exercise is very very important as it helps the skin to sweat out toxins and feel refreshed. Create time for regular exercise, enjoy aerobics, work out at least 3 times per week and ensure you sweat and clean out the skin. Aside the skin looking great and youthful the joints also will have you to thank for this. Register at a gym if you can, if not there are many workout videos on youtube to help with home workouts.

5. Live an active lifestyle. Do not be sedentary. Keep moving, keep being  active, take  short walks when you need to sit for long hours, stand up twist the torso or wriggle the fingers and all that will go a long way in helping the skin glow and look youthful into 50's and 60's.
7. Take supplements daily. At the age, the body may not be able to fully process all that it needs from food alone. It needs some supplements to make up for what we can't get from food.
8. Lose weight. Obesity and weight can affect the skin and give it a dull appearance. Try as much as possible to carry healthy body weight for you height. It is unwise to starve while trying to lose weight at this weight, eat smaller portions, take smaller servings and the weight will drop once you start taking a calorie deficit.

9. Exfoliate regularly, dead skin can block the skin pores from getting oxygen and prevent the skin from cleaning itself. To maintain a young looking and wrinkle free skin, exfoliate and moisturize your skin often. There are natural products that can clean and exfoliate, like lemons, when you shop products for skin exfoliating, products than contain lemon are great at gently exfoliating the skin.

10. The number one thing that can make you develop wrinkles fast is losing weight too quickly. Lose weight slowly to give the skin enough time to adjust because if you lose weight too quickly, the skin will lose moisture and wrinkle fast creating fast lines on the forehead and around the eyes.

11. Quit or avoid smoking tobacco. Once the inside is filled with smoke and carbon, it reflects on the skin. Keep the lungs clean and the smooth, young looking and wrinkle free skin will be one of your rewards.
