Here is how to cook noodles for babies

The reason most parents are cautious about giving kids noodles is because of the coating, once that is parboiled and removed, your baby is free to enjoy the carbs with some added nutrition.

From six months, babies are being gradually introduced to solid food. Some parents are not sure about feeding noodles to little babies but many are doing it without problems because they know the right methods to make noodles for kids.

Cooking for babies is different, the food has to really cook soft or be mashed to enable the cute little humans to digest them properly. Some ingredients have to be added or omitted for the sake of the chubby cheeks smiley tots. While pepper is removed, proteins and carbs are increased.

PARBOILING NOODLES BEFORE COOKING for baby

To make not only delicious but nutritious and safe noodles for kids, you parboil first the way we do rice. Aside from parboiling, the pack of noodles is hit or pressed down to crush everything so that the baby can digest easily because at this age, even the milk teeth is still begging to grow and we need to help make the food easy to swallow without chewing.

For green peas, get baby peas. You can test by pressing one between your thumb and first finger if they crush, then, they are still young and can cook really fast, if your fingers cannot crush the pea, then it’s too mature for a baby unless you’ll cook till tender before adding to the pot of noodles. Blend the carrots and add to already cooked noodles, check, turn off the heat and serve.
