Euchariah Anunobi confirms the passing of her only child ...complications associated with Sickle cell anaemia

Earlier today,  the sad news filtered into the air. Reports that Nollywood actress Euchariah has lost her teenage son to the cold hands of death resulting from sickle cell anaemia.

Her son Raymond, who by God's grace was the only child of the actress reportedly died from Sickle Cell Anaemia issues. The 15-year-old reportedly gave up the ghost on Tuesday morning.

Raymond who she had by her ex-husband, Charles Ekwu, in 2002, has been with Sickle Cell Anemia from birth. He was born in 2002.  In 2007, Charles according to what Eucharia Anunobi told the press then, abandoned home, leaving her with their only child, while she was outside Lagos shooting.

Only recently, Raymond turned 15yrs old and being the only child, Eucharia gave him all the best a mother would have given an only child whom she loved sooo much that she can do anything for him.

Raymond was the source of Eucharia’s joy and strength and the actress had invested so much into making him live a very good life... May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen!

She had recently revealed that she regretted having the son out of wedlock, “It was not a deliberate choice that I have made. It came by chance, it came by mistake. God does not kill His children who have made mistakes. He would rather sustain them and tell them that He is the owner of all things. The Lord has been sustaining me as a single parent. I don’t think about it, all I know is, ‘God, you are the one that created me and the child that you gave to me’. So whatever that is needed of me, it was a wrong choice that I made,” she said.

Speaking with TheNet.ng on the passing of the teenager, Eucharia said:

‘Thank you, I appreciate it, ‘ she told our correspondent. ‘My son has gone to our place of origin (heaven) to be with our daddy Jesus, waiting for me when I eventually go there at the fullness of time.’
On what led to his death, she said:
‘Comeon, comeon’, she said, ‘God knows best. ‘
