Beast Dragged woman off the street and raped until passers by intervened

This is the height of rape! Dragging a woman off the street to rape? Passersby are said to have gone to her aid after hearing her cries for
help.

The suspect was Asian with a slight build and short hair. He was around 5ft 5ins tall and was wearing a light-coloured top.
Detectives are keen to trace a man who was wearing dark trousers and dark T-shirt at the junction of Broad Street and Marsh Street South who may be able to help with the inquiries. It is not believed this person was a suspect.Detective Inspector Steve Chadwick, of Staffordshire Police, said: “We are appealing for information following a rape which took place in Hanley in the early hours of this morning.
“A woman was walking along Bethesda Street when she was grabbed and raped by a man.  “We have already spoken to witnesses who came to the woman’s aid, alerted by her calls for help.
“The area outside the Potteries Museum has been cordoned off throughout today while investigations continue.
“The victim is currently being attended by specially-trained officers and we are investigating the report with the sensitivity and care the circumstances require, Reports Mirror Uk.The horrific attack occurred in a city centre when the suspect is said to have grabbed the victim as she walked along a street in the early hours of the morning.
The woman was raped during the attack and is now being helped by specially-trained officers, police say.
Officers have released a description of the suspect and appealed for help to identify him following the incident at around 4am today, the Stoke Sentinel reports.
The victim had been walking along Bethesda Street in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, when she was allegedly attacked close to the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
