Stubborn Tonto Dikeh deletes all photos of estranged husband on Instagram

Actress and mum of one, Tonto Dikeh has deleted all memories of her estranged husband on her Instagram page. I'm so disappointed and pissed already. A pity how some women cannot even try their minimum best to keep the family together. Marriage is hard work and whoever is entering that door should be prepared to work hard and to look the other way a times. As an actress and make-believe-expert, I hope Tonto didn't think that the scripts she acts in movies are what marriage is all about? Is it that most actresses go into marriage expecting things to be the exact way we see on the large screen? I am so very disappointed in you Tonto, every marriage gets to that wilderness period of dryness, lack of affection, trials and patience and tolerance. This marriage sure brought you so much joy, having your own family and settling down into a more responsible woman gave you more fans but you won't keep

family matters private. You couldn't just guard what mattered to you have and allowed extreme publicity and over Social Media show-off to destroy that "sweet" life for you. If only you know that a lot of those people you see as sympathizers are just not what you think, they are happy that THIS is happening to you, happy that your husband is being stolen from you and their eyes will rest from seeing all your customized gifts from hubby being posted everywhere on The Internet. They are laughing at you behind your back!

Ok now, what Tonto has done will soon get sour in her mouth if she doesn't make hay now and  fight. Now she is still gliding and enjoying the publicity this brings but it wont last. Very soon, very very soon, she'll come to the realization that "a bird in hand is worth a thousand in the bush''  As the wife and especially as an African wife, it is her place to ensure her family is kept together but NO, she won't do that and instead will be spending too much time on Social media showing off two cars she got as birthday present, announcing and posting every Iphone and customized gadget she got.

For us Nigerian wives, your husband is the head whether you like it or not, whether anyone accepts it or not, the man's authority stands. When he came to your village to marry you traditionally, you knelt down to serve him drinks, you told the whole world that he is in charge by kneeling to serve him that palm wine and if as a "modern wife" you feel you are 'equal' and cannot help your husband overcome his temptations and mistakes, don't worry, when you meet the next man and see that the trials and temptations all men face are similar, you'll realize that men are mostly moved by what they see and it takes the grace of God for them not to stray. Now that you have left your husband and are telling the world how he hasn't called to see his son since you left, if you were in his shoe, what would you have done? Quickly Called the woman that left you, because she took your child away? Is she not the mother of the child?

See, Tonto, this man loved you and you knew it. Try another man first so that your eyes will clear. You couldn't just submit to your husband and give your kid/s a great home, you couldn't work for your marriage, aren't there celebrities with working marriages? Or you think that their marriages are successful is magic? Ask them.

You used to heap praises on your husband, now you have taken back your words? If you loved your cute son so much, you'd have done everything possible to let him be with his father because for as much as we know, there was no violence in your marriage. That man never raised a finger on you and didn't commit any sin that has never been committed. You better look for ways and sign out of Social Media for now while you go look for your caring, loving husband. With all your gra gra, you couldn't even stand gidigba when a little wind blew, you ran away and let another woman take your husband from you. What a shame. Your Social-Media show off might have been the reason other women went in search of that wonderful man you won't stop *Instagramming* about. With his pictures deleted, you have given up abi? Deceiving yourself that you are happy abi? You cant deceive everyone. Stay there and see how another woman will go have a successful marriage with the same man you left. Or kpata kpata, by the time you go, he has already downloaded a baby into another woman.
A word is enough for the wise. Receive sense IJN.

Madam eya, do yourself a favor and keep quiet. Not every woman must be as unequal to her husband as you are. Not every woman must die with low self esteem because she feels she can't do better JUST LIKE YOU. You think we don't notice your subtle posts majorly about cheating men? Yes your husband cheats but not everyone has low self esteem just like you to look the other way. Hopefully when you get AIDs you'd also tell your daughter how to keep a community prick instead of teaching them how to have a better self esteem.

Anonymous you are coward! You put yourself on invincible and be calling Aunty Eya names like that. Don't go about insulting people on their page. If you don't have anything good to say then shut up. If your mouth is so rotten you don't know what to do then just shut up! Is rude to be calling this Aunty Eya names. I don't know her but I will not sit and watch you insult her like that. Make yourself visible coward! Stop reading her stories if you don't like it. This is her Facebook blog, you cannot bring yourself in here and start insulting her like that. Besides she said she copied it. Becareful how you insult people, what happened to your manners? God did not give you those stupid fingers of yours to go about typing and insulting other people. You probably know whom she is and you looking for a way to insult her that's why you made yourself invincible.

If you see yourself as unequal to your husband madam, that is your standard. You have so many daughters, you can teach them YOUR standard. But don't come online to spew bullshit telling someone else what her standard should be. It is women with stupid mentalities like yours that turned women into 3rd class citizens that they are today. Your husband cheats on you and you stay, THAT IS YOUR CHOICE. I'd love to see my comment on your blog :)...Idiot!

Madam, No, they don't hate marriage. Nobody enters a marriage hoping it doesn't work and waiting to leave one day. I know for a fact that you can't judge what someone's marriage is or should be. It is disappointing that you would say all this. Why should a woman alone be the designated driver of the marriage especially with an unwilling passenger?
I can't believe you actually said that "That man never raised a finger on you and didn't commit any sin that has never been committed".
Can you please understand that what one person can take another person can't? Can you understand that pain and hurt is relative, person to person?
Can you accept that you cannot dictate how hurt/pained someone should be?
I cannot presume to know what your marriage is like or how happy you are but the first thing you should know about marriage is accepting your truth and being honest with your reality.
Don't be a judgmental and snide woman-basher because that is what you sound like here except this was a sarcastic post. If so i take this last statement back.
Still you are better than this. Please be.

    Love, light and laughter.

  7. Well,i marvelled at the anonymous comment,it's one of those things .However individual is entitled to his or her opinion, whether Tonto Dikeh or not,Eya have said her view whosoever likes can pick one or two lessons therefrom, you only wish her a successful and beautiful home but the CHOICE is hers which nobody can impose on her.It takes the grace of God and inner maturity to handle MARRIAGE issues.I wish all your Daughters a beautiful future and homes according to God's standard.
    Kudos.

It's quite obvious you're looking for comments on your dead page. You probably think negativity would bring spice back to your DEAD PAGE. You then decided to go about it by exposing you daft mentality. Madam, let me make it clear, you've just swerved the wrong way because you've touched the wrong nerves of not just the actress you wrote about but so many women in general. I had been following this page right from time because of your unassuming nature but right now i know you're indeed very stupid. You think spewing negativity and throwing a woman who represents several other women indirectly would make this blog popular but you're so dead wrong. TIME TO DELETE THIS CRAPPY BLOG run by an idiot. Madam godly...FOOL!!!

No this is not right. You may have the best intentions but the mode of delivery is bad. We don't know what happened in the marriage, we don't know what she put up with. So please don't judge . No don't shame the woman. We are all women and should help build each other. Even the title of the post is unfair

I cannot believe that a woman wrote this garbage I just read.
Madam Eya na wa for you o. "Your husband does not cheat but 95% of men do". Read your statement to yourself. I seriously doubt your husband is in the 5% of men that don't cheat. Anyway, na your wahala. Na your type dey put condom for your oga's luggage. Whether he uses it is another story.
    How can anyone who wasn't in the marriage with them write this - {I'm so disappointed and pissed already. A pity how some women cannot even try their minimum best to keep the family together. }

  11. How can you judge your fellow woman like this?were you in the marriage with her?do you know what she went through? She is an adult, stop judging people so harshly please. She was going through domestic violence so you expect her to die there? Please blog with caution and keep some of your opinions to yourself. She didn't seek your opinion when she married him & neither does she need it now.If a home falls apart,it's always the woman's fault.

  12. And how did you know she wasn't submissive? She should have helped him fight his mistakes & temptations, who will help her fight hers?Eya,you are so judgmental. If she cheated on him, would he have helped her fight her own temptations?Have you tried reaching out to her as a fellow woman who is older & more experienced? Please keep your opinions to yourself. Its your type that cut off your freinds when they divorce their spouse. On judgement day,it's not marriage certificate that will be used as gate pass to heaven
