Good hearted, kind women are most times vulnerable to these things. Police are hunting a man who raped a woman at knife-point after she stopped to give him some change.
The victim, who is in her late 50s, was walking in Islington, northLondon, when a man approached her asking for change.
Police said the woman handed over all the coins she had before the man grabbed her
shoulder and pushed her into a nearby road, where he pulled out a knife and sexually assaulted her.
He then stole valuables from her bag before fleeing the scene.
DC Sarah Hunter from the Met Police's Sexual Offences Command said that the victim had been left "very traumatised" by the incident, adding: "This was a horrific attack on a woman who had stopped to help a stranger when he asked her for some change."
The assault took place in Heddingham Close near Essex Road station in Islington between 11:30pm on Thursday night and 12:20am on Friday morning.
