As a little girl I learned early on that blue eye shadow, let alone a blue lip, is generally unflattering on black women. But times have changed, and with stars like Lupita Nyong’o, Rihanna and Missy Elliott all sporting the hot trend who says I can’t do the same?

Contrary to ur belief, blue is a flattering colour. Even on doctors show today on MBC 4, a celebrity makeup artist said it suited all skin tone. One of my fav mua, Chinazor rocks blue eye shadow so effortlessly. I love it
