Is It True That Challenges Don't Come To Those Who Pay Tithe?

So I went reading a story Online to know how much parents of the Barbington Macaulay Junior Seminary paid as ransome to get back their daughters from kidnappers. While commenters thanked God that no harm befell the young girls, below is a comment that caught my attention:

"just take a look at the beautiful girls...thank God the bastards did not harm them in any way. Lets pray against unexpected expenses....that money could have easily been giving God one-tenth of it....he would never allow such to happpen Buh we prefer spending on problems..."

Going through challenges is part of life itself. God never promised us (anyone) a trouble-free journey on earth. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze".
Most Nigerians are very religious... some don't share their burdens with others bcos of comments like this.

  2. That is an ignorant, narrow minded, judgemental Christian! My pastor just lost a teenage son, does that mean he doesn't pay his tithe? The Devil has no interest in bringing down an unbeliever becoz he is already on d path he wants him Tnk u Mr Johnson jo!in all things we stand strong coz all thing work together for our good, even when it doesn't seem like it!
