  1. Lonart!! This drug scares the hell out of me. I lost a baby after using the said drug. Although, I never knew I ws pregnant. It may not have been the drug though…but I'm expecting another. Whew!! Thanks to God.

  3. there are medicines for pregnant women. Just let ur doctor know u are pregnant, so he can know how to treat you. Its not advisable to ask around for drugs to use, its as good as going to a near by chemist to mix drugs for you. If u have doubts about the lonat the see another doctor let him run a test on u, and let him prescribe drugs for you.

  5. I forgot to mention that I also took it with my first baby. She's 3 now. Healthy as can be by God's grace. If you're not comfy, ask for another drug. Remember malaria is dangerous in pregnancy. Get treated.

  6. Does your doctor know you are pregnant. If he does and he prescribed the drug, then use it or get a second opinion.

  7. Lonart is a very good malaria drug, very effective, if your doctor is aware that you are pregy, and gave you the drug, then its ok to use it, but if he is not aware, I will advice you let him know that you are pregnant, also it will be adviceable you read the leaflet inside for Better understand if its safe for pregnant women

  8. Please its not everything drug that your doctor recommend that you should take while pregnant. The only malaria drug recommended for pregnant women after the first Trimester is Fansidar which is now swidar (sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine). Get a second opinion from an experienced doctor.

  9. just seeing this please. do not use any malaria drug. use any malaria drug that has arthemisinin-based combination therapy (ACT) it' s the best for malaria and also for pregnant women with malaria, although its more expensive than the regular malaria tablets. you can read more about ACT online or ask your doctor
