Re- Hurting But Still Grateful

Hurting But Still Grateful was supposed to have been published some months back with pics of what became of Folashade’s car after another car rammed into it. That post wasn’t published cos the pics won’t download no matter how I tried.

Those pics are still in my mail box and I wish I can post them here so we all see how great God is. With all that happened to the car, no one was hurt.

RE- HURTING BUT STILL GRATEFUL
I had to train a group of people on

insurance and I didn’t have the slightest clue on how to go about it. Needlessly, I live in an environment where we like to believe ‘God is my insurance’.

I had to do a bit of research on the topic and was a bit overwhelmed by the numbers of insurance that exists and the so many terms that go along with them. I didn’t study insurance in school; hence it was quite a tedious, yet welcome challenge.
Co-incidentally, with the advice and help of my brother a few months back, I got a comprehensive insurance cover of my car and payment for another premium was due in a matter of days. I had already started thinking of where to get money from, hence, resolved to downgrade to 3rd party insurance. At least, nothing happened the 1styear that I did the comprehensive insurance- to me it was just a waste of money. However, my brother convinced me otherwise and he supported me financially to pay the comprehensive premium for the second year running.
Further to my last piece; my insurance company finally released funds for total damage of the car and I added a bit of money to get another one. I always craved a Honda CRV and luckily, I got one (though an old model) but I’m still grateful.
Needles say that the insurance class was more fun as I didn’t need to say so much to convince the attendees of the training on the importance of good insurance. They had me as the testimony they needed.
I’m team Insurance for life and YES! God is still my number 1 insurance.

  1. Thanks. I haven't forgotten the advice from you guys to get professional make-up and take pics at a studio for my profile pics. I will do that soonest. This too is a selfie at home while having mummy and baby time alone. When next I pass by a good studio, will try and stop for a shot which will be downloaded immediately as my permanent pic.

  3. I shared this pic for my blog readers to see what sleep deprivation does to new mothers. Haven't slept well since I gave birth in April. It's so bad I have very dark circles around both eyes. I can't sleep in the day while baby sleeps all through and spends the night keeping me awake to breastfeed. I crave so much for a good night's rest and pray his sleep pattern changes soon. Yawning…
