If it is white most likely a bleached shea butter which is no longer unrefined.

  28. Whipped Body Butter Ingredients

1 cup of cocoa butter – find unrefined cocoa butter here
1/2 cup coconut oil  – find coconut oil here
1/2 cup of jojoba oil or other liquid oil (almond or a mild olive would work great too)
    Whipped Body Butter Method

Using a double boiler gently melt cocoa butter and coconut oil until completely liquid.
Stir in jojoba or other liquid oil.
Allow to chill in the refrigerator until the oil mixture begins to firm, but has not turned completely solid. This may take longer than you expect – several hours at least.
Using a standing mixer or hand mixer, whip the semi-solid mixture until white peaks form.
Scoop into glass jars and allow to chill for an hour in the fridge.
    Notes:

This homemade lotion will remain whipped in moderate temperatures. If your home is particularly hot, you may want to store your body butter in the fridge. If you forget and your whipped butter melts back to oil, simple re-chill and re-whip.

The consistency of this lotion is true to its name: whipped body butter – and as such, it does leave a thin layer of oil when applied. Personally, I love the idea of my skin drinking up the nutrient-dense goodness from these oils. If you prefer a body lotion that absorbs more completely,  Either way, there’s no need to cover your body with synthetic junk ever again.

  29. Body Butter Cream Recipe
1 cup organic raw shea butter (solid)
    1/2 cup coconut oil (solid)
    1/2 cup almond oil (liquid)
    1. Melt shea butter and coconut oil in the top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes.

    2. Stir in almond oil and essential oils of your choosing.*

3, Place oil mixture in freezer or outside to chill.

    4. Wait until oils start to partially solidify (see photo) then whip until a butter-like consistency is achieved.

    4. Place in clean, glass jar and enjoy! A little goes a long way.

*Not all essential oils are skin friendly or child friendly. Please do your research before adding.

    TIPS: PLEASE READ!

    1. You can use what ever oils you wish, just make sure you keep the ratio 75% solid to 25% liquid. SO IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ANY OF THE ABOVE LISTED OILS, JUST REPLACE THEM WITH AN OIL THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO. Just make sure you replace a solid for a solid and a liquid for a liquid.

    2. The chilling step is crucial. If you don’t chill it properly, it won’t whip or stay whipped. About 20 minutes in the freezer usually does the trick for this batch. Make sure you scrape down the sides before mixing.

    3. Since this recipe does not contain any water, it will not mould. You should keep in a cool place but it does not have to be refrigerated.

    4. I do not know the exact shelf life but I know it will keep at least a few months, plus.

    5. The body butter melts as it goes on and gets a little oily but absorbs beautifully, quickly and leaves your skin very soft.

You can order the organic cocoa butter here: badeji01@yahoo.com/ 08138719973

    7. This recipe has been tested many times. If you don’t follow the recipe, you will not get the same results.

    8. Many people ask for exact amounts of essential oils. I start with at least 20 drops of what ever oil I want to use and just increase slowly until I am happy with how it smells. So…be free! Use your own creativity here.

  32. Basic benefits of Argan oil. Please read and if you are thinking of where to buy contact sheamapo. I have stock of this liquid gold popularly known as 'Morrocan oil'.

    http://skincare.about.com/od/skin101/a/Argan-Oil-Benefits-For-Skin-Hair-And-Body.htm

some easy ways to include argan oil in your beauty regimen.

Hair: Argan oil is a great product to calm frizzy ends, add moisture to dry hair as well as add a little shine. Apply to your hair while it is still damp for an all over treatment or apply just to your dry ends after your hair is dry.
Scalp: If you're dealing with dry scalp, apply some argan oil to a cotton ball and dab your scalp with the oil. If you do this before bed, you'll give the oil plenty of time to moisturize your scalp before you wash your hair in the morning.
Face: It might seem scary to apply a pure oil to your face, especially if you have finicky skin, but we have been doing just that and our skin is completely turning around. It's smooth, clear and radiant, all thanks to using argan oil as our daily morning moisturizer.
Body: You can use argan oil for a full body moisturizer, applying just as you would a body lotion or cream. Apply the oil right after you get out of your shower for best moisturizing results.
Hands: Argan oil is a great oil to use on your hands, especially on your cuticles and on your nails if they are prone to cracking and peeling.
