I Know Wives Connection Is Not A Hospital, Still Need Your Voice Please

Hello Aunty Eya,
Please I want people in the house to please throw some light to this health issue that has been giving me sleepless nights, for like 6 months I av been having a terrible pain in my right side abdomen, and I have been going to hospital.

Doctors keep giving me antibiotics but the pains keep recurring,i did scan twice,my scan said everything is normal until yesterday when my Doctor refferred me to go and do the scan somewhere, and this scan revealed that I have haemorrhagic ovarian cyst on the right side.

I know WC isn’t hospital but I know we have Doctors in the house and also knowledgeable people,I have an appointment with a gynecologist next week,I want to know if anyone in the house knows possible treatment apart from surgery. Thanks for always.

  1. This is a conversation that you should be having with your family doctor or other doctors with experience in this field for a second opinion face to face. If I tell you now that I went to see a "baba" and he healed me of the same problem and for that I had to sacrifice a relative would you go?

  4. Na wa oh! Did she ask for any 'baba' now? Go back, read and ASSIMILATE then advise.
Poster, pls dnt panic cos all will be well. Some of them (cyst) burst and go on their own while some require surgery. Mine was small but with stomach discomfort but dissappeared on its own. Pls.pls and pls dont rely on just 1 doctor if its surgery. Go to a teaching hospital and seek 2nd opinion from the consultants. Who knows………that cyst might be a baby…….lol! God bless u

  5. Please Poster, do not go to a private hospital for your case. It may or may not require surgery hence the need for specialist and second assessment.

  6. My dear poster, see ur doctor next week whn u hv ur appointment.
birth control pills and an analgesic will help.u may also need an antibiotic to go with it.
    A surgery is best though.
Are u trying to conceive,if u are,u shld plan for pregnancy after recovering frm d surgery.
Your doctor shld knw the extent of growth of d ovarian cyst frm d scan u did and he must hv ascertained that d surgery is best for u.
bcos d cyst might interfere wit ur childbearing.
Do u experience heavy bleeding ?
Is ur menstrual cycle regular ?
    Pray hard,dear Poster.
    God'll make everything fine.
Whn u r thru wit d surgery and u'v fully recovered frm it,u can plan pregnancy with d Gynaecologist who's handling d case at the moment.
U can ask me any questions u hv,I can help u find out .
    It is well.

  7. Some ovarian cysts are harmless and should not interfere with ttc. However if its causng severe pains like you have described it needs to be removed or treated but I've heard medcation or other interventions will reduce or stop pain for a while and will most likely return in the near future if the cysts are not removed by surgery (can even grow back few yrs after surgery). You'll be fine IJN

  11. and that is the more reason why people need to stop asking questions meant for their doctors on blogs Eya stop being an enabler by posting such questions the more you post doctor questions the more they will be asked and the more chances of people getting scammed like the anon above's friend
