Tasty Moi moi With Egg And Corned Beef By Ama

Enjoy Tasty Moi moi With Egg And Corned Beef By Ama. So as promised, I tried your corned beef moi moi recipe today. I couldn’t bring myself to cook anything on Saturday  but I did it today. I added eggs to mine. It was YUMMY!

Hubby was so impatient while it was on the fire and the minute it was ready, he pounced on it. I didn’t hear his voice till he had downed two bowls with cold garri oh, next thing he said :”babes, gimme one more.

Shey it is plenty remaining oh cos I will eat it again this night and tomorrow“. That was all the “thank you” I needed. LOL!!!

I don’t

like food cooked/served in nylon bags (Santana) and I really didn’t have time for moi moi leaves, so I used little bowls. And because I used corned beef, I was really watching the amount of salt I put as I was mixing it.  It came out perfectly. Sadly, I couldn’t eat much as my supermodel baby in the belle no gree me chop. All in all, I’m mighty proud of my first trial. Lemme check your site and see what I will cook next.

Thanks so much for all you do.

NB: Always remember that cooking moi moi with leaves or ceramics is the best option healthwise.

  9. Sorry to derail, but this is a follow-up to the post about females washing their under-wear before wearing.
Apparently, it's not just about new under-wear, but all damp clothing, and could affect anyone, male or female. So, that story about maggots coming out of a lady's breast is very true.

The condition is called Myasis, transmitted by various flies, most commonly the Tumbu fly in Africa. I got this from Wikipedia.
"Female tumbu flies lay their eggs in soil contaminated with feces or
urine or on damp clothing or bed linens. Damp clothing hanging to dry
makes for a perfect spot. The larvae hatch in 2–3 days and attach
to unbroken skin and penetrate the skin, producing swelling.[7] If the
larvae hatch in soil, any disturbance of the soil causes them to wriggle
to the surface to penetrate the skin of the host."

It's prevented by ironing all clothing before you wear them.

Aunt Eyah, please, put this up for all to see. I saw a patient at the hospital today who was treated for it.

  10. Thanks Lizzy. Yes, they are little plastic bowls with covers. Here's how come they didn't melt: while I was mixing the moi moi, I boiled a full kettle of water. When I was done scooping portions into bowls and setting them in the pot, I poured the kettle of boiling water into the pot (as opposed to using cold water to boil it). As the water dries up (it won't dry up that much though), keep adding water. If the pot goes dry is how come the bowls will melt. I hope this helps.
