  1. You are highly qualified my brother… If I list my own qualification ehn you sef go fear!

The problem with Nigeria is getting a job that suites ur persona, qualification and needs. In recent time such doesn't come easy!

As you keep trying to land urself that job, also take a wild turn away from ur real qualification. You can't spend all ur life digging deeper into a zone that's hasn't given you anytin yet.

Nigeria of today, the successful are eida into crime, politics, business or white collar… The later being the less profitable and hardest to come by.

For ur kind of qualification, try enroll into the police, customs, immigration or try create a plan B, it could be anything but don't just bask so much on this line of job.

  2. George – you're still in school and looking for a job?
One thing that WOULD help your professional qualification is to get certification that is recognized internationally. Very key for you is ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP). There are opportunities in the security profession and it can only get better.
I have sent you a personal mail requesting for your CV…

  3. Sign up on linkedin. Build your resume there. Sound professional. Avoid using short hands or grammatical errors. Connect with people there. Search for people who work in the type of companies you want to work with. There are lots of HR guys there. So, do your searches for your connections well. Try and send inbox messages to these people. Try first, not by telling them that you are looking for a job, but rather, an 'opportunity'.

Read up online on how to build yourself and 'soft skills'. Please don't describe yourself as a CEO on linkedin. Let your headline be on your skills as a security person. Hope this helps.

But since you're still in school. I advise that you focus on graduating with at least an upper also. If you put all your trust in God, a job is coming to you sooner than you think. Always be confident and believe in yourself.
