I like different shades of green combined. Like olive green, lemon and maybe leafy green. These always have a great outcome. They never disappoint.

U r welcome sweetie. Since u can't afford a wedding planner @ all. Then I suggest u involve ur friend(trusted) or ur siblings. U can mix ur favorite colour wit dat of ur hubby bt make sure d shades blends.
As per aso-ebi, go shopping wit one of ur friend and ur mum for samples.
Pls, do not do evrytin urself. Delegate duties to responsible pple. Planning a wedding can be stressful.
Mine is in 2015 and I don dey plan already. Wish u luck, if d weDding is in lag, abeg invite me so dat I go chop rice(I love wedding rice)

  11. MamaNnukwu sha... Anyways, obianuju, u can try silver/ash and red. Saw it over the weeekend and the combo is very very beautiful. Leaf green and orange is nice as well, Royal blue and Gold, cool also. You can go thru bridal mags, they help a lot when planning for your big day. If you have a very supportive family and friends, you can plan your wedding yourself without a wedding planner. But if you can afford one, den nice and good! Wish you the all best in this lifetime commitment! I hope to be planning my wedding one day and soon too by God'sgrace!

  17. Congratulazione in advance.
I had same challenge during my wedding planning coz. A lot of colors just became so desirable over night and what did I do, I went for a multi-cored event but then I was lucky to meet a wedding-planner church member who advised me on the right colours(all those primary and secondary colour thing) for free.
Our reception hall looked super cool thanks to the decorator and the multi colour.
I had 6 different colours namely Orange,Lemon,Yellow,Blue,Red,Purple(riot much? lol, not really). You can check my blog to see the girls, each of the guys had a bow-tie to match his girl's dress.
At the reception, we had 6 rows of banquet tables with each row colour-matching each of my girls. The tables and chair were all covered in white, it's the sash(abi rap-round) on the chair and the small centre clothes on the table that were made to match the respective colours. Am so sure you'll likke it when you see the wall decor.
    Phew! Epistle much

Mama nnukwu, are these your questions necessary? Will her answers help you in suggesting colours to her? Are you without sin? If you married as a virgin, born-again, housekeeper cum chef did that make you the best wife around? Bride dear I got married recently and I used lemon and gold and it was superb.
