China Milk Poduct Scare: Can We Go Soy Milk?

The death of these innocent Chinese babies is so painful. When I hear of babies dying because they are fed with tainted dairy milk, I feel so bad for the babies and mothers who innocently give poison while trying to feed their babies.

My friend’s baby took Isomil (soy milk) from day one until she got introduced to
cereals. This is a baby that took only soy milk without a drop of breast milk. She never fell sick for one day, always happy. Till today she will soon be one, the lovely angel is still a very healthy and happy baby even though she has stopped taking the soy milk and now eats well.

For the safety of our babies, I encourage more mothers to try soymilk, speak with your Paediatrician and if it’s ok, let the babies eat soy milk. Hubby never allowed me give any baby “cow milk” according to him, so I have never experienced feeding babies with diary products. I am a witness. Have seen a baby live only on soymilk for some months with no health problems.

With this China milk scare, do you have other suggestions for mothers?

  1. Eya well done for gating comments now the comments on here sound like they come from normal sane people. This just goes to confirm that people will only go as far as you allow them to. If someone types nasty comments 100 times and you refuse to approve and publish 100 times they go soon tire and move on or start posting sane comments. I have a blog too and when I check my comments for approval as long as the first few words are abusive I delete without even reading the rest of the comment works like a charm every time I don't waste time reading mad people's comments. Well done madam for listening to the voice of reason.

  8. Soy milk is only a plant protein, it does not contain the adequate amount of calcium and other vitamins/minerals in cowsmilk.goggle is our friend please.all packaged food be it soy or cowsmilk is prone to adulteration/poisoning. God will help us all not to be victims

I came across this blog few months ago and while I enjoyed reading, the comments turned me off the blog. This is also the reason I don't visit Linda Ikeji.I think gating the comments is a good look.it keeps the blog classy and soon the readers will learn how to agree to disagree without resorting to tasteless behavior and namecalling. Thanks
