Yes, I Couldn’t Cook!

I didn’t have to share this but I will, cos I know it will put smiles on the faces of some of us. The fact that  Eya could not cook for once will make some anonymous grin, I
know.
Well, on Monday, I went down with a cold and fever. Normally, I pack lunch for my husband. There is this food flask I have that can keep hot for a whole day. Sometimes, food remains hot in there until it begins to get bad at night while still hot. So, once his lunch is packed in there, I just relax knowing it will still be hot when he is ready to eat.

For the first time, in my adult life as a mother, I could not get up to cook, warm or even pack food. My nose was blocked and my body was feverish, I just continued to lie down the whole morning while they left without their usual. There’s this place he goes to eat lunch whenever I don’t pack anything for him and I don’t like it because it’s far from his office.  I also don’t enjoy that he complements their food every time he eats there.

Well, my ears were open when he got back in the evening. I was waiting uncomfortably to hear him shower praises on their soups and stews but was surprised that he had another story to tell; He was advised by a colleague to try Hellofood, he did and according to him, there is no point going through that early morning stress of packing his lunch because Hellofood is doing great with Lunch delivery.

I felt better and so, decide to share with my readers who may not be enjoying packing lunch for kids, themselves and their husbands every working day of the week.
Now I feel more relaxed in the mornings. On Tuesday he still came home full of  praises for that lunch delivery system.  #ICanNowRest

  4. Eya, I just went through the site. They only have services in Lagos… I thought you lived in Abuja?

Makes me feel like the story is just fabricated to make this advert. Anyhow, its your blog sha. But this might hurt your credibility.

  5. U r right. I just noticed that too. Their restaurant options are not even many for an area. The delivery charge is just ridiculous. 1k, 2k? Wen u can send an office asst on a bike 2 go pick it up for N200. Eya I really hope u charged for this advert. Nothing comes for free.

  6. Eiii Aunt. Eya please explain the situation cos as for this we don't understand. If you were doing an advert why didn't you go straight to the point. Why make up this story. Or your husband had the food delivered from Lagos?
