What Can I Use To Get Rid Of This Scar?

Hi. I am a 24 year old lady,got to know about your blog from my sister and its been AMAZING ! I have a problem that I need a solution to;

I was recently involved in an auto accident which affected my

face. I had an injury that was stitched. Now I have a scar, it’s on my head just above my right brow. I have a very tender skin so afraid it’s going to form a keloid

PLEASE WHAT CAN I USE BOTH LOCALLY MADE AND IMPORTED. To avoid this! Thanks a bunch, kisses.
P.S: Bonario don’t comment! hahaha

  5. Meet a doctor to get professional opinion, bcos am sure when u r done reading all d comments u will be confused on what to use! Shea butter, honey, snake fat, coconut oil. Ahhhh pls go to d hospital, n it depends on how deep d injury was, some scars can never fully go.

  6. Deborah,do u tink she stiched d wounds in her house? If u have any experience on how emergency is handled @ times,u'll be surprised @ how carelessly wounds can be stiched! When I had an accident 3yrs ago in Lagos,it was a consultant othopedic doctor @ igbobi hospital dt recommended honey for healing of the wounds I sustained from compound fracture.
    Honey heals fast and reduces scaring &phyton fat reduces chance of keloid forming as well.
    I still ve faint scars dt are not obvious.
    Once stiches are not done properly, plastic surgery is what can remove keloids o!

  7. abeg dont go to the hospital ooooo, abeg use all d snake fat,Shea butter, etc atleast one would work…my bro had an accident in 2009, it was stitched immediately at the military hosp, we were not satisfied with the stitching so we went to a private hosp and it was loosened and restitched….fast forward to last week, a big glass (like the size of a screw) pushed its way out of the stitch..can u imagine? not one hospital, 2 hospitals and they still missed the glass. thank God it was glass(cant decompose) and not some other substance that can later cause cancer.

  10. I know abt the python fat(used for many other things), honey is good as well. Aloe vera for me i feel worked better. I have had burns(3times) and when i mean burns , i mean 2nd and 3rd degree burns on different parts of my body, the last one in 2011, affected my face and chest region, matter of fact, the skin on those areas left completely and off course grew back, but you know when it grows back it wont necessarily be same color as the other parts, so, i started with honey and switched to aloe vera, i saw more progress with aloe! summary, hope even as pple av suggested all the above for you, you also use a good body lotion and soap, me i always believe in the mild and natural things when it comes to my skin.
    Also, eat healthy, i hear meals high in vitamin E, help prevent keloid formation. pawpaw, nuts, vegetables like spinach and all…Tomatoes, garlic, tuna, mackerel, salmon(these foods enhance collagen production)and are also good.
    sorry, my work/typing is messed up,i hope i did help sha.

    I had keloid I got from piercing an extra ear hole. It was huge and a scar on my back too. I used the python fat for a while, don't know for what reason, the scar and keloid just didn't reduce or disappear. Until someone recommended a Medical doctor to me. His hospital is @Gbagada, after deeper life headqtrs. D Hospital is just by Asa Estate gate. You will thank me later. Had a minor surgery and everything is all gone now.

  17. The python fat is effective, am using it presently for a scar on my face. The only problem is in its terrible smell, it smells rotten and can make one puke if you can't bear it.

  19. Hmn! Thanks for all the plenty comments. Someone actually recommended it and u thought I should look it up. Good thing u did.

    I had a burn in my chest that left a massive keloid after healing. I remember that someone gave my father some unpleasant smelling oil which I used continually for about 8minths until I just noticed that that big lump on my chest was no longer there. I can't remember now if it was snake oil or just Shea butter but it looked similar to Shea butter and it worked.

    Thank you
