To The Christians, Muslims And All WC Readers

Hi Aunty and fellow WC members, hope we all enjoyed the Democracy Day? I made a few observations and please I will like us to all correct
our mistakes and move on. The use of insulting words and  profane language is really becoming too much on the blog. I won't want to call names or accuse anyone so I will try to be as diplomatic as I can be.

Colossians 4:6 says "let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt so that you may know how to answer everyone."  Please before you insult anyone, no matter how angry you get, even if a word was said against you, ask yourself must I insult this person to state my point?

Many times we can easily look away without replying or we can type our comments without insulting anyone, so why then do we take delight in insulting people? Psalm 19:14 says May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight oh lord. Remember that we will give account of every idle word that we utter. Matthew 5:22 says....."anyone who says you fool will be in danger of the fire of hell". Many times we have used words that are worse than a fool on ourselves, even to the extent of insulting generations and parents. Please let us all decide to
Make this blog a peace loving place, remember a well chosen word can speak volumes and touch lives.

Morning ma, please I will like you to add the following Islamic verses for the purpose of the Muslims on the blog: "and when the foolish address them( with bad words) they reply back with salamaa ( peaceful words of gentleness) (Qur'an 25: 63) If they pass by some vain speech or play they pass by with dignity( Qur'an25:72) And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice indeed the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of a donkey...( Qur'an 31:19).

The believer does not curse( al tirmidhi) the believer does not defame abuse disparage nor vilify( al tirmidhi, sahih) Men  accustomed to cursing will not be intercessors or witnesses on the day of resurrection (Muslim) Him that did not safeguard his tongue did not understand his religion ( al Hasan (Ra))
Thank You All.
Deborah Bala

  2. Really nice of you to want to ensure peace reigns. but that's almost impossible. this is a blog where different people with different upbringing, backgrounds, opinions, way of life etc come to. u cnt expect sanity here. i'm not saying what those people do is right. but we should jst understand that there are good people in this world and there are bad people. and this is a public blog,u cant stop them from visiting. Whenever they open their mouths to blab, the few reasonables ones here should learn to ignore. not ignoring unreasonable people is the reason why this has escalated. they have come to stay, learn to act like they arent here. Peace!

I am sure you are mistaking 'sighing' for 'sucking of teeth(mscheeuw)'. Go and research what it means to 'sigh' then come back and explain to me how my 'sigh' in itself can start trouble. Abeg dnt annoy me dis lovely evening... I just can't catch a break with u guys...

I believe strongly that all this pre-matures using abusive words are other blog owners probably envious of eya.

They are only using this sacastical words to chase away people from coming to use this blog, since thay are frustrated that pple seldomly check on there blog.

but we should all forgive them.

@ Deborah pointing out those vases in the holy books will not change such pple since it is a delibrate act.

It is better we observe the Law of silence.
