I Wan To Port Like Saka

Hello Aunty Ojay
Sorry to bother you. I have a little thing I know you can do for me. You bloggers always deal with more than one Telecommunication Network and you know which works better in
Nigeria. Saka just ported from Etisalat to MTN, but I already I am with MTN and these days even trying to read my favorite blogs is a headache because it loads so slowly. I don’t think they are honestly giving us the 3G as promised. Loading is just so slow I feel they may be giving just 2G.
Now I’m frustrated and I want to port. I like that after porting I can still retain my memorized number. The problem is where do I port to. Which Network is truly delivering? Please help a sister out. By next week I want to start enjoying my fast Internet again, pls.

If you can’t help, I beg that you put it up on the blog so that other readers can help me out with suggestions. Fellow readers, pls when you suggest a Network you think is doing better, kindly help me out with one or two reasons why you think I should port to that one. It was just last year I changed from Glo to MTN thinking I will enjoy their services more. Right now thank God for this blog, I really want to be very  sure before I port. Thanks to Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC); I don’t need to start memorizing a new number.
Thank you all.

Now from me Eya: Do you guys think Saka betrayed Etisalat?

  1. I feel very sorry for Saka cos to me, Etisalat remains the best in Nigeria.
He cannot even be trusted that is what it means

  2. To be honest there is no better network. They all have der problems. Just stick to MTN for now. If you are using a blackberry fone, what I do is always switch from 3G to 2G and vice versa depending on d area I am in. Thats how it is. Like upstairs in my house, I use 3G and downstairs its 2G. It sounds crazy I know but network is so slow at a lower level.

  3. Me too I want to port from Etisalat to Airtel, heard Airtel BIS also work on Android phones. Can't afford to be paying #1,000 every two days for mere 200mb.

  4. Etisalat just rewarded me with 460 naira this morning for all my recharges in April. Can MTN do that?

  6. Android for big boyz. Don't port. Etisalat gives u 8 gigabytes for 8000 naira but no other Network gives that much. MTN gives just 5igabytes for same amount.

  7. Me too, i want to leave MTN. My BIS for this month cant even open a webpage. I just receive BBM…..It's appalling. I have been thinking of airtel or etisalat

  8. AIRTEL is still the best network. Their voice call is cheap, they hardly have network issues, Though i don't use their 3g modem but i subscribe for monthly internet service on my phone and it is super fast. So try airtel, in my opinion, they are still the best. I've never tried MTN or Etisalat but between glo and air, i choose airtel

  9. Ken please leave Saka. He ported and that's final. He was paid like every other character on the Etisalat network. His academy, Orange academy divulged that Etisalat did not even place him on a long term contract so when MTN called on him, he had to take the job cos they paid higher.
If we want to port, lets look past the adverts and port to a reliable network with a wider coverage.

  11. Aunty Eya, Saka didn't betray etisalat cos there was no contract. not like he's an ambassador or anything. i use mtn and i contemplated porting but d8idn't cos really no network is perfect. they are almost the same so i advise you stick to your MTN.

  13. Won't you all like to port to "AceTell"
5G network, unlimited data cap, free calls and text, nationwide coverage and so on….

Anyway, no comments today until I'm done celebrating my byday!

  17. I use both Airtel and Mtn and I will suggest airtel… Data plan is cul and call rate is normal. I only use Mtn cos of wider network coverage, I dnt even knw d number, I dnt call wit it cos their tariff is killing. Na only browsing tinz for d village where NYSC post me.

  18. Wow funny,I think all dis depends on 1s area o.c me I dumped mtn bis 4 etisalat's 1yr ago n I don't regret it.b4 I cudnt download stuff with it expiring.even bbm on mtn na wahala,I prefer etisalat.infact it works betta

  19. Glo was perfect until Z10 came n dis made em cut d Mb…from 3G to 1G—Montly n 700Mb to 200Mb weekly..that's ridiculous, my glo plan of 1week now expires in 1day…

Mtn just has network issues and they r not sorry about it..*sad much*

Etisalat, I heard has unlimited Mb allocated 2 Bis subscribtion, I am seriously considering using dem but when I remember that they hav little or no customer care (call centre agents) presence, I just shove it all away.

Airtel seems 2 complicated 4 me, guess its all d name change, share mb n wat have Ʊ…codes used 2 activate data plans n check Mb r also so so complicated…

I am stil using my Mtn though but wil port to etisalat dis week cos I heard dey render special care to customers who just ported 2 their network….:d

@Bona…etisalat also allows Ʊ use ur BIS sub on Andriod phones
