This post no longer exists

Dear bloggers, ever since I started receiving mails and posting to help us get other peoples’ opinions, no mail has left me this uncomfortable. I know the sender answered my questions and all BUT, I couldn’t even bring myself to advise him cos I don’t really feel convinced.

I am sorry I have to take it down because
I haven’t had peace in me since I put up that post. I am happy he says that he has made up his mind to listen to his wife . Sorry to the poster, but I can no longer leave it up. I have a strong feeling it’s similar to something I saw somewhere I can’t remember right now. I don’t know maybe it’s a dejavu but, I don’t really believe that any Nigerian wife can just drop her kids in school, bid her husband goodbye and head straight to the bedroom to sleep with another woman. I can’t bring myself to believe, so, let it go…

  1. Aunty Eya, seriously, my respect for you as a woman, mother and blogger has……..

….Sky rocketed! 🙂 🙂 🙂 You are amazing! I was just about pointing out that you got over 100 comments, only for me to see this. It shows that you really care about doing what is right and not about hits. I'm sure people will criticize you for this…just forget them and do what you know is best. Cos I was disgusted at how people kept generalizing. There are still a lot of good people out there!

God bless you ma. You are going to the top.

  5. The story might be fake but the post has revealed the luciferious tendencies in Nigeria house wives.

Eya, the women that confessed on your blog today is their confession fake???

Please wake up to the reality and decadence in our society and let fight it once and for all.

BI SEXUAL HOUSE WIVES YOUR DAYS OF SHAME IS NEAR, IT WOULD COME SOONER THAT YOU EXPECTED.

  6. Myopia never did anyone any good. You have to be willing to accept things that exist outside your comfort zone. There are lesbians and bisexual women in Nigeria who marry because that's what our society and culture demands/expects. What do you think happens to all the girls who practice lesbianism in boarding school? There are Nigerian female bloggers who are openly struggling with their sexuality. Some have accepted it while some are still praying the lesbianism away.

Wake up and smell the coffee, lady. There's no use burying your head in the sand and pretending things like this can't happen. Just because you can't fathom it doesn't mean it has to be fake. Very disappointed in you for taking down the post because it shows your narrow-mindedness.

  9. Ehn…let her be narrow-minded, na u sabi. It is her blog and every blog has got its standards. Even Linda writes rejoinders or apologizes sometimes to some celebs using HER blog when the heat is too hot for her to handle….she hasn't lost readership from the last time I checked. You can decide to start visiting other blogs who are not 'narrow-minded' and would promote such…..I don't mean to say this but we definitely won't miss you. We can't deny the fact that the initial post brought out skeletons in some married women' cupboards and might be proper for Aunty Eya to do a post on Lesbianism so we can share our advice to the affected women on how to stop this devilish act, however I have a strong hunch that the post might be infiltrated by opposing and controversial views cos I noticed in the initial post that the married women who admitted to the act are so comfortable doing it and aren't ready to change (may God help us). But then it is left for Aunty Eya to decide whether she wants to do that or not…..whichever way, it is HER blog. I just thank God that the nightmare is over and whether you believe it or not Aunty Eya, u just won yourself a big reward in heaven.

  10. Aunty Beebs, what are you going on about and why are you comparing this blog to Linda's? Is Linda Ikeji's blog the yardstick you use to judge what should be done on this blog? Who said anything about not wanting to read the blog anymore? I see you think someone died and made you blog police.

If i said she's narrow-minded, it's my opinion. Taking down the post and refusing to believe that the story could be true, is being narrow-minded, plain and simple. Leave me to state my opinion, while you state yours. The last time i checked, no one made you blog police, so face front.

If you have this kind of blog where people want to share their stories for advice, you should be willing to accept criticism. No one is perfect and people can learn and grow from feedback. Don't put the post up and then take it down, because you did not get the kind of response you wanted. Now all of a sudden, it's a fake story because lots of women are coming out to say they are lesbians, abi? Then you should have done your homework before putting the post up in the first place.

  11. Thanks jare Eya. I really respect you! For the first time on this blog, there were over a hundred comments, and you still took the post down.wow! Pls continue standing for what you believe is right,no matter what some people say.
The post sounded like a Nollywood movie script. I just couldn't get past the fact that some person that sent it in is just laughing his head off at the comments, and thinking how smart he is for deceiving us to advise him quoting bible and saying sorry to him.
The whole thing is so distasteful.

  12. Aunty Eya! I personally respect your opinions and reasons for taking down the post. However, if you feel the post was fake then what about the various housewives that wrote their ordeals. Please note that lesbianism and being bi-sexual is in our society. Whilst in school I witnessed it time and time again. Infact one time, I was lured to tried it and I found it disgusting cos in all, one still needs the dick! I still thank God 4 my boyfriend (now my husband) who counselled me and prayed with me abt it. Ever since I have seen and had different offers to sleep with chics and I truly find it disgusting still. My point is that it is soooo much now in our society and we just have to a lasting solution else our children would grow up and see it as "no big deal". Thank you.

  13. Yes o… As fsr as I am concerned, that post was fake and all it did was

    1. Entertain those with twisted mindsets.

    2. Paint married women in a bad light.

3.Try to corrupt the min's of good people here especially the ones that might be habouring such thoughts already.

    4. Bring out the vile anonymouses who see nothing good in others and expect everyone to be as twisted as they are.

The post did not bring any solution as most people who were against it were too shocked to even proffer real solutions. Yes, it happens in the society, no one is disputing that fact. Most people who said she shud leave d post dnt have good intentions fore saying that, forget all of the reasons they give. Which solution are we talking about sef? The poster asked how HE could deal with his wife not how to change her. The 'women' (cos it mite even be a guy) who commented did not ask for help, they were justifying their act.

Later when someone is preaching on the blog, they will be castigating the person. Only the word of God can change a man. If not why do people in therapy still commit crimes or suicide? My dear leave o…no be today…

  14. Sis Eya as much as I was shocked that such happen and I was a little disturbed throughout the day yesterday, I still don't think u should have taken off the post.
I don't think a man with his right senses can make up such a story. It shows a lot of people need help judging from all the anonymous comments from married women.
It is ur blog and u decide what post to put up or not however in d future will u decide not to put up posts u are uncomfortable with when the sender is desperately seeking help, advice and support. Moreover what makes u think other posts such as d ikorodu lady and others are not made up. This to me defeats the purpose of a blog. Good day.

  15. Eya owns the blog and she decided to take the post down. I really don't see how this is an issue.
Its your blog, you do what you like. You're not blogging for money, all the people so quick to compare Eya's blog with Linda's should note this. Linda blogs for money so she'd put up controversial topics cause that's where the money is.

  17. Eya I am a silent follower of your blog but I have to say this, I have a very close friend she confided in me that while at boarding school she used to engage in lesbianism stuff that was before she met Jesus Christ. Twenty years later she reconnected with one of the old lesbian partners now married with 3 kids, she was so happy to meet she and they renewed the friendship. So she was invited to the ladies hubby's party. She went there helped before the party and spent the night. Do you know that this lady came to the visitor room in the dead of the night and tried to initiate sex in her matrimonial home. Mind you both women are now mothers and wives. My friend refused preached the gospel and ran out of there in the morning, then cut off all ties. Her hubby could not understand the sudden coldness towards her new found friend. She had to lie that she suspects her friend cheats so she has decided to cut off. Eya my sister things dey happen for that Lagos. Abby

  18. So how did that post offer solution to those women. I saw comment of supposedly Married women(which I highly doubt) acting like it was the right thing to do. They never acted like they needed help overcoming and if they do,I am not sure they will have the mind to glorify such act. GLADDENED HEART

  19. She is narrow minded because she refused to entertain peeps with atrocious mindset. Everyone knows that lesbianism exist but does she want to glorify the act with her blog…No way. When you get your own blog, you can discuss whatever with it. Every blog has its own values and ideas so respect it. You have to stop being shallow. GLADDENED HEART

  20. Eya..I understand why u feel u had to take the post down but my dear u have to face reality. This things happen every day in our society. It starts mostly from boarding schools and most of the time, this ladies can't stop it. This is something that has to be discussed and ways to overcome this evil spirit and temptation should also be proffered and not ignored.

  22. After that post where Eya commented was when the blogger came out to say she is a lesbian and even got other bloggers cautioning her to be careful with her utterances.
From that post where she said openly that she is lesbian, I read on and checked very well you all will see that Eya never commented there again.

That blog used to be in the list of blogs Eya reads. I think Madam Eya took out that blog after that lesbians utterances on her blog, cos from then on till now, her updates stopped showing on Eya's blogroll. I had to go check cos the bashing was too much. Is it by force?

Eya pls stopp allowing people advertise here in a disrespectful way. After all you do ur own on LIB openly, Linda herself approves and posts and not like these ones sneaking to advertise their blogs behind your back.

I even explained why I took down that post but you just won't stop.I DON'T do blog fighting, I HATE confrontations and hate saying hurtful things to people, so, I cannot fight you. Hiding behind anonymous does not stop The Almighty from seeing you. He knows your name and sees whatever it is in your mind that is causing the hate.We all will definitely reap whatever we sow.

Please know that it's because of you I want to start moderating my blog comments.

  27. My wife made me search out this post only to find out it is deleted. This is one of those times when I don't agree with Aunty Eya & Ahdaisy. Would your opinion of the story being fake be different if a wife had written that about her husband? You have the right to remove any article from your blog. But if you have to start judging the "trueness" of every story, that's a different ballgame. Many articles here paint married men in bad light and many ladies generalise about married men and it has never been an issue. Anyway, this is wivestownhallconnections. So I shouldn't worry myself plenty (LOL). Besides, i enjoyed the coconut rice & the pepper sauce my wife prepared for me with the recipe gotten from the site.
