Plantain porridge can be cooked with unripe plantain or fairly ripe plantain. It
can also be cooked by mixing both. In that case, the unripe plantain has to cook for at least 7 minutes before adding the fairly ripe plantain.
 
Plantain porridge can be cooked thick, light or like sauce.
It depends on the quantity of water added and the length of time used in cooking.
Plantain porridge is a very healthy meal that can be served as lunch, breakfast or even dinner.
When mashed, it is loved by babies who are being introduced to solid foods.
Ingredients For Plantain Porridge With Crunchy Snails.

Ingredients:

  1. Plantain
  2. Snails
  3. Liver
  4. Green vegetables
  5. Palm oil
  6.  Seasoning
  7. Salt
  8. Fish
  9. Pepper
  10. Onion
  11. Tomatoes
  12. Water

Procedure for Soft Plantain Porridge With Fish, Liver And Crunchy Snails

 diced the plantain, tomatoes and pepper and onions.

Washed and diced the liver and dry fish.

Pour the plantain into a pot, add little water, add the tomatoes, pepper, onions, liver.

Add palm oil and let it boil.

Add crayfish and dryfish to it as well.

 Lastly add the washed ugwu leaves. Season with Maggi and salt. Sent by mavis
