How To Eat Mango Skin, YES

Mango cut in cubes for  easy consumption

Eating mango with the skin allows one get enough fibre from the mango. Eating mangoes with fibre can
be very difficult if one doesn’t know how to serve the mangoes. Although I love my mangoes with the skin, I can’t forget the fact that some mangoes skin are just not sweet and can’t be eaten. For instance, mangoes with very green skin. Those ones, I dispose of the skin.

When mangoes are cut the architectural design way, it is difficult to eat the skin cos after picking out the juicy cubes, the skin becomes uninviting.

Wash mangoes very well before cutting. Do not forget  these fruits are sprayed with insecticides to keep ants and other insects away. Mangoes are in season now, to see other methods of cutting and serving them, GO HERE

  7. Yes, but it's hard. Most times I'm too busy to log in and approve waiting comments. I May just leave it and delete offensive ones when I see them on the blog.

  8. Aunty Eya, even at that, it still wouldn't be pure liquid. So I suggest she uses a small/medium-sized colander to get the fibre separated from the juice. Also, she might need to use her hands to squeeze the liquid retained in the fibre.
