What Is The Right Age For Marriage?

Good morning aunty Eya. I wrote this to know your advice and other women too. I am 24 presently and I
am not ready for marriage just yet till maybe 2 or 3 or 4 years after. My mother keeps insisting I should marry early so I can have children early because she married early. My Father thinks I should not delay too long as well.

However I love my boyfriend and we are not both ready yet but we have a destination. We are both virgins and my father says it will be harder to keep virginity till 4years because of temptations. We have been dating for 3years. I am a banker and. He is an engineer but also on his masters degree. I know marriage age is relative but when is the ideal time. I feel 24 is still young. Thank you.

How about a man? When is it too young?

A man is too young when below 25, no regular source of income, not emotionally ready to start a family.

  5. I usually say 25, but really, there's no ideal age. The best time is when you meet the right person. In your case, you've met a man, and you guys have a plan. My advice is to work with him. What I'll add is to get everything in order so that after the wedding you don't wait too long to start having your children. All the best.

There is no right age for marriage. You just have to be ready like Chinyere said. Be ready to face all that comes with marriage. Prayer is very important as well. Pray and make sure the person you're marrying is someone you can grow old with.
Please, don't let your parents force you into marrying when you're not ready. Because, you're the one who will be in the marriage...not your mum or your dad.

    Hi,

This is actually my first time commenting here and I must confess that this blog has really helped me..A LOT! I try out some of the recipes here and everytime I do, hubby is always pleased. So thank you :)

To the writer, there is no perfect age for marriage. Like most people already mentioned, you have to be spiritually, emotionally and financially ready before you make the huge commitment.(Btw, these are not standard rules, but it would definitely help if these things are in place) People get married at 28, 29 30 years old and sometimes the marriage still ends up in divorce. So it's not always a matter of age. My friend got married at 21 just about 6 years ago and she's still happily married with 2 kids. I also just got married last year at 24. My husband and I are not where we want to be yet, but it's so awesome to know that we have each other and we can build our lives together.

I like your comment. Me too, every time I reproduce these recipes, Hubby wonders where I bought the food. He clears his plate like no man's business.
