AnonymousMarch 15, 2013 at 10:56 PM
Aunty Eya, pls pardon me for writing here. I need advice ladies. Am a 30yrs old virgin, you can never know because am very open and stylish lol. I mistakenly told a friend about
being a virgin and wanting to wait till I get married, since then she's been pressuring me and telling me stuffs that no guy will want to wait till the wedding nite. I've been into relationships but never anytin serious. I just want to know are there still guys out there who can wait and date a virgin? Tayo

  3. To me you have even passed the age where it is difficult to keep one's virginity. If you did not give into pressures to lose it when you were in your 20s, I say the worst it over. Just endure and keep it for a few years. Sex is overrated especially when you do it with someone you are not married to...especially for the ladies. Just keep yourself for your husband. At your age I dnt expect you to waste your time with any man just stringing you along with no show of commitment. Yes, there are men out there who can wait...although they are very few. Some can wait for you and get it on the side in while waiting.

Please don't let anybody deceive you. Keep your virginity till marriage if that's what you want to do. I kept mine for 29 years. No right-thinking man will condemn you or that. My friend got married a few weeks ago and she was 35 and a virgin. So, what's the big deal? The only thing is you may be nervous the first few nights but with an understanding man ( and a good lubricant), you'll relax and enjoy it.

I've missed this blog so much aunty Eya.. Well Tayo, I'll tell you straight up SEX is worth waiting for.. I'll put it like this SEX is like going to market( I bet you understand how tedious that could be).. But LOVE MAKING is like a long stroll in the park( you take your time to observe the beautiful scenery, you don't care if its getting cos you feel very safe).. I like to think sex(outside marriage) is a big risk cos you're constantly thinking of how to protect yourself against infections or unwanted pregnancy(no fun in that).. Please wait

My dear anonymous 8:10am, it is well with you. My younger sister got married last year 2012 at the age of 37yrs. She gave birth in January this year. We serve a great God. There is absolutely nothing he cannot do. Keep your virginity for your husband. I pray you get married to a worthy man soonest. In the mean time enjoy been single, you won't understand what I mean till you get married and have kids of your own.

As long as communication has taken place, it is OK. Language if functional and situation dependent. That means, you understand the message they are trying to pass across and this is an informal setting.

Where you are comin from is way farther from where you are going. You are almost dear darling keep holding on. I couldn't achieve this feat but I am so proud of you to say the best. Someone who would appreciate it is waiting for you. God bless you

  18. You should be proud of your virginity and not allow any friend to talk you into feeling ashamed of something they probably wish they had held on to and not given away so cheaply. Like everyone else has said, you have waited this long, do not spoil it now. God will give you someone who will appreciate you just the way you are. The fact that premarital sex seems to be the norm, and is endorsed by popular celebrities does not make it right. When you honor God, He honors you right back. God is not mocked.

Dear, I advise you wait. Trust me there are still other virgins out there too who are stylish and very beautiful. As someone said get a lubricant for the wedding night. We are on similar boats though *winks*
