Tuna Pasta And Vegetable Bake

made this Tuna Pasta And Vegetable Bake meal for my family last night but I only took

pictures at the  end as that’s when I remembered I’ll send it to wives Connection.

 

Ingredients:

 

* Tin tuna fish (you can use any de-boned fish or seafood of your choice)

 

*chopped tomatoes

 

*onion

 

*pepper

 

*salt

 

 

*mixed veg of peas, diced carrots n sweetcorn

 

*seasoning

 

*water

 

*olive oil (you can use oil you prefer)

 

*grated mild cheddar cheese

Cooking instructions:

 

*pour some salt and then the pasta in boiling water in a pot and leave to cook

 

*in a separate pot, heat the cooking oil and fry onion, chopped tomatoes, pepper and mixed veg then add seasoning

 

*after 10 mins add the tuna fish to the cooking ingredients and veg then let it cook for 5 mins
* when the pasta is soft, drain out the water and pour the tuna and vegetable sauce as well as the grated cheese  into the pot of pasta and stir.

 

*check for seasoning and salt and add if needed (you can serve and eat your  meal at this stage without baking it in the oven)

 

* pour the pot content into an oven dish, sprinkle cheese on top and leave in oven to bake for 15-20 mins

 

* serve and enjoy

  2. Hi all, leave to bake in oven for 15-20mins at gas mark 5 or 190 degrees celsius. Like Myne already said, do not let the pasta get too soft as it'll soften some more in the oven and don't let the tuna n veg sauce cook for too long as it'll cook in the oven (that is if you are baking in the oven).   3. I've not tried baking in the microwave and I won't suggest you try. You can serve and eat without baking it if you like.Lizzy

  4. You can use mild low fat cheese or do without the cheese however, do not bake if you don't use cheese as it'll get very dry in the oven. Lizzy
