Here is my recipe for chicken soup

How to cook Chicken soup gravy that  can be served with rice, macaroni, spaghetti, unripe boiled plantain or just enjoyed as a meal on

its own. It is a very tasty and healthy meal. It tastes better with lots of pepper and just a lil flour. Too much flour can make the soup too thick and uninteresting. 

Ingredients 

  • 1 whole chicken
  • seasoning cubes 2
  • salt
  • onion
  • very well washed bitter leaf, mint leaves (scent leaves) OR uziza
  • ground fresh pepper
  • baking flour 2 spoonfuls
  • water

Cooking steps for chicken gravy

  • Boil washed chicken with salt and chopped onions
  • add seasoning cubes to chicken soup
  • add very well washed bitter leaf or scent leaves or uziza to chicken soup
  • Then flour to chicken soup
  •    2 spoons of baking flour to boiling chicken stock to thicken it.
  • chicken soup gravy boils while baking flour mixes well with stock.
  • Check for salt. turn off the heat and serve with rice.
