Here’s Announcing The Birth Of Our New Fry Pan

 The new Monix Fry Pan

If a fry pan were as big as a “posh car” or “a mansion in Aso Rock,” May be, somebody somewhere would have felt like “show off.” The good thing is that a fry pan is just an ordinary “kitchen ware” that
can’t get us raising eye brows. #RaisedEyebrows

First and foremost, hi Sister Anonymous, I am back o. Hope you are still there? After due consideration and consultation with “blog elders,” I decided to do something about whatever that is offensive to my Esteemed reader(s). It is not all about me and my attachment or love for my old fry pan. It is about the great men and women who come here to help increase my page views.
welcome Fry pan
So, like I was saying, after consultations, I visited Grand Square Kitchenware Department, yesterday, Saturday, The 16th day of February 2013 to shop for a new fry pan. Well, I could not afford the size of my old fry pan, but, according to Bonario, “half bread is better than chin chin” So, here we are. Sister Anon, kindly inform your colleagues that a new fry pan has arrived the blog o. ** Oh, before I forget, I’m not available for any dialogue about the pots for now** peace! To see and read about the old fry pan, GO HERE.
Fry Pan ready to run the wives connection errands
Henceforth, when you see a Title that has to do with fries or anything fried food, please, click and read. Do not be scared. Do not feel like “ehen, that old wrinkled face of a fry pan is here again” No way, my old fry pan has been sent to the “old people’s home.” I promised her that she is not going to be abandoned, I promised to check on her from time to time with some bags of goodies.

To all my Esteemed blog readers and Sister Anonymous, help me welcome our New Fry Pan and please remember to wish the old one “a happy life and good gratuity during the period of her retirement.”
Thank you all…

  1. Eya, you mean you went shopping for a frying pan because someone complained? you are not serious!

After the empty complaining, did she give you money to replace the frying pan. If you try to please people, especially ingrates, then you are on a long thing. I'm outa here.

  11. Yaay! Pls, I dnt think Sister Anonymous was being mean by asking her to the frying pan. It's just unusual to see that kind of old frying pan on a food or recipe site. Aunty Eya did not seem offended by the comment so pls let's not make it a big deal.

Me, I like new kitchen ware. I am sort of a collector cos I get them, keep them and still use my old ones. I feel good when I arrange them in my kitchen and be looking at them 🙂

Aunty Eya, more Grace to your elbows:-) May you make many glorious meals with this new pan. Cheers! *pops champagne*

  18. Hi Ladies, well done o, I just sat down here watching every one with my side eye. Have you heard about Ananse the spider or Mr Tortoise? these two have something in common, they both know how to get away with everything just like yours truly.

If not for our outspoken Sister Anonymous, do you guys know that I'd have brought my I don't care attitude into my blog?

Have you guys noticed that sometimes I dish food in my kids plates sef and post? That is me. If not that my Inlaw advised against it, I wanted to have a signature plate for all my posts, and I started doing that ( if you look carefully, you will know the plate I'm talking about) When my Brother Inlaw bumped into my blog and saw the same plate for every post, he called me… This is a blog that is read by people all over the world. I need to be different here. I know that in my house, I am the type that can eat with even a plastic spoons Lol!. Yes! It has earned me laughter from people numerous times. Whatever clean plate that is closer to me when I'm hungry is where I dish my food and eat.

It is not very correct to bring that attitude into blogging. That is not to say that I go for a kitchen makeover because I decided to start sharing my kitchen tips, No. The point is, I really need to try hard to make my things more presentable. #RollsEyes

If only you guys heard what Hubby said to me a few days back eh? no one would have even tried to blame my humble sister Anonymous. I was reading my post on amaranthugu rice with moi moi served with coated chicken http://www.wivestownhallconnection.com/2013/02/amaranthugu-rice-with-moi-moi-and.html

He walked past, the first thing his eyes caught was the grains of rice on the chicken. He stopped and drew my attention to it, and asked if I am "doing I don't care with my presentations too?" That was the day I realized that it would have cost me nothing to pick out those grains of rice before taking pictures.

I was hoping to God that no one notices the grains of rice and complains.
People like me need Sister Anonymous to ginger and keep us on our toes, sometimes sha o, Not all the time.

She actually helped me improve on my ratings kind of, if there is anything like that. Food needs to be presented with presentable items and kitchenware, LOL!

I am very grateful for this blog and you my blog readers, because, I can already feel me changing by the time this blog gets to one Year.

All thanks to Sister Anonymous and you guys jare!
By the way, like I said before, this epistle I just delivered does not mean that my readers can start complaining about what they see on the blog o.

  22. Who's talking about old frying pan when the mortar and pestle in my house has been here since 1988. I'm jst 2 yrs older than it. Ha!
We've thrown it to the store severally and bought new ones only for them to spoil within a few months. One new mortar actually seperated from the middle and we dug out our old mortar again.
Sometimes, some kitchen wares can be more durable so it isn't a matter of money or anything. Looking @ ur new fry pan Eya I already know d former one is more durable, dis one looks so light.
Anyhow, I'm glad u're open to criticism. I'm a fellow Abj resident. God bless you and your blog.
