BEST BABY SOAP IN NIGERIA

Best baby soap to use in Nigeria is what’s giving me headache right now. What are the best baby soaps that mothers in Nigeria have used and can recommend to a new mom please? Aunty Eya help post on your blog please ma. The hot weather is not helping matters.

I need help with names of good baby soaps in Nigeria to help my newborn.

My baby came with a very smooth skin and just within four months of giving birth, we have tried like three different baby soaps.

The reason being that I am not impressed with the look and feel of my baby’s skin. I see babies on Instagram looking like they just landed from the galaxies, why can’t my baby’s skin look that clean, fresh and smooth?

Dear poster, before I share with you baby soaps that Nigerian moms recommend, I’d like to say that the baby soaps sold in Nigeria whether made in Nigeria or imported baby soaps, they are all good. However, problems arise when mothers are deceived into buying fake.

I like Johnson baby products. Good and authentic Johnson Products. There are different types I see at shelfs.

I’d recommend shopping your baby soaps and other skin care products from authentic baby product shops or good supermarkets.

I know babies with great skin  from using Aveeno. Vaseline and shea butter too helped my last baby’s skin. Remember that every baby’s skin is not the same.

LIST OF GOOD BABY SOAPS TO USE IF YOU LIVE IN NIGERIA

  1. Johnson baby soap
  2. Agnesia baby soap
  3. Sebamed baby soap
  4. Aveeno baby daily Gentle wash.
  5. Boots. If you can find authentic ones.
  6. Johnson baby products again….
  7. Some new mums love Angel products too.

Other moms should please help with good recommendations to help new mothers living in Nigeria. The weather here is really hot and baby’s skin are delicate and tender. Good for only very mild products. Some mothers recommend black soap for baby skin.

I thinks local black soap is harsh. Too strong for babies. What do you think? Please share by leaving a comment below…

  1. The thing about us Nigerians is we don’t give product reviews especially when it comes to babies, but if it’s an irrelevant issues we “stan”. My LO is 6mnths and has been having severe heat rash since a week of his birth till date and i use Johnson’s products from good supermarkets, I try getting online feedbacks of mums here on products that are very good on baby’s delicate or allergic skin no answer

  2. No need indicting Nigerians for choosing what to discuss.
Aveeno and sebamed are good products. Though expensive. My babies tend to have rashes with most others. Also, of recent, research showed Johnson is not ideal for black babies. It gives most of them rashes. You can also use black soap though it’s a bit drying on baby skin. So melt it in water and add a bit of coconut oil, palm kernel oil and you are good to go. Best of luck.
