You want to be successful in this life? How badly do you want it? Lady shares her story, how she applied for the same job three times, got interviewed twice without getting the job. The third time, she got an invitation to attend this interview just one day after giving birth to her baby at a hospital. This child birth would have been a perfect excuse not to go for that interview but you know what? She dressed up in a formal outfit, padded herself very well, packed her milk filled breast gorgeously, managed to wear formal shoe in her state, wore makeup, probably doubled the pad and went for this interview. What’s your excuse? How excusable is that excuse that you give?
For me, the reason she got the job this time is because she attended the interview just after giving birth to a baby.

“Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Chioma…& i am serious minded and passionate about everything i put my hands into.
Let me share another personal story here.
A few years back, i saw a building and said to myself, i want to work here. Everyone i told said it was very difficult to get in there so i asked them, those that work there, do they have 2 heads?
I was determined to get in there and i trusted God and the universe to take me there.
I started doing my research and found how to apply…and i did.
To my surprise, i got invited for an interview!!
I almost passed out, out of excitement.
Well, i didn’t get in….so i applied again!
I got invited for another interview….& was so sure i impressed the panel…but no.
Me give up?
Do pigs fly?
I never give up.
THIRD TIME APPLICATION AND INTERVIEW
When they advertised again, i applied and received no response.
Then i had a baby.
The day i had my baby, i received a text message inviting me for a third interview the next day!
Sweet Jesus, how do i do this? I just had a Baby!!!
I could have called to reschedule but i asked myself, HOW BADLY DO I WANT THIS JOB?
Anyway, i asked the doctor if I could go home, he said i had to be observed for at least 24 hours and also my baby had to take some tests and if the results are satisfactory, then we could go.
Let’s just say that God & the universe arranged everything in my favor and we were allowed to go!!
Got home, got into some formal wear, Babylove drove me and Babycakes to the venue.
I left both of them in the car and went up for my interview.
I am crazy right? Yeah. It’s no news.
At the end of the interview, when it was my turn to ask them questions, i looked at them and said,”This is my 3rd interview here. You guys keep inviting me and still do not make me an offer. Third time is the charm so i’d better get in this time’
SAY WHY YOU THINK YOU ARE THE BEST CANDIDATE
Then i was asked why i think i am the best candidate.
“Well, i responded, I am a serious minded person & hate to give excuses. I had a baby girl yesterday and i am here today for this interview. I did not want to reschedule. That should tell you the type of person i am”
The 3 people interviewing me sprung to their feet in shock!
What!!! You mean you had a baby yesterday? Where is she?
‘In the car with my husband. That should let you guys know how badly i want this job’.
Their jaws where on the floor.
Then i thanked them and went home.
2 weeks after, i got the call and i accepted the offer.
The rest is history.
When you want to succeed, HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT TO?
