Women who lose their virginity younger are more likely to cheat later on in life - new survey
Women who lose their virginity at a younger age are more likely to cheat later on in life, a
shocking new survey has revealed.
Victoria Milan, a leading website for people who want to have extra-marital affairs, has claimed that their members became sexually active much younger than the national average.
The survey of 5407 female members of the adult website found that users popped their cherry two years before the norm for their native country.
The majority of Irish women questioned said they started to becoming sexually attracted to others aged 14.4.
A quarter of said they first fancied someone when they were aged between 10 and 12. The majority of Irish women surveyed said that they did not actually have sex until they were aged over 16.
This is a year and two months below the national average that Irish women first have sex, which is 17.3 years-old. Victoria Milan has five million members in 33 countries and when they questioned women who are signed up to the site from eleven different nations they all showed similar results.
Victoria Milan’s CEO Sigurd Vedal said that he reckons there is a link between women who are comfortable with their sexuality earlier in life not being willing to settle for an unhappy love life later on.
Mr Vedal explained: “There’s a direct correlation between the age a woman starts to realize she’s attractive – and attracted – to others, when she starts acting on those feelings, and her cheating habits. “Women who have a strong libido start having sex at a young age.
“They know what they want – and if their long-term partner isn’t cutting it, they will look elsewhere for satisfaction.” This follows a previous report from Victoria Milan which found that Irish women are the quickest to play away from home after getting married.
Irish wives who stray embark on an affair just 3.6 years after they tie the knot.
The website, which has 70,000 Irish members noted that women generally walk down the aisle here when they are 31.6 years old and the norm age when they start to play away from home in 35.2 years-old. Trailing behind in second place are Swedish women, who tend to cheat after 4.1 years, while UK women tend to wait 4.4 years.
Women from Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Greece and Italy rounded up the top ten countries where ladies are fastest to cheat after their big day.
