'Professional beggar' caught changing from brand new clothes into rags to plead for cash

Do these pictures show a professional beggar?

These images allegedly show a professional beggar change from brand new clothes into

scruffy rags before spending a day outside a railway station pleading for cash.
They were taken in Liverpool city centre - where the mayor, Joe Anderson, is leading a crackdown against so-called professional beggars who give those genuinely in need a bad name by tricking passers-by into handing over their money.
The pictures were taken by a passer-by outside a railway station and handed to the media by the mayor's office.
The man who took them, who does not wish to be named, said he “could not believe his eyes” as he watched the man in a “brand new” blue jacket and “smart trainers” change into “scruffy” clothes before bedding down in a sleeping bag and begging for change.
Man believed to be a professional beggar
The eyewitness told the Liverpool Echo : “As I was walking past Moorfields (railway station), it was the bright blue jacket that actually caught my eye because it was so nice and then I spotted his really nice trainers.
“But I couldn’t believe what I was seeing because he was putting scruffy trousers and a big old coat over the top of them, there was a girl next to me who was also watching in disbelief.
“I decided to quickly take photographs because I think it shows the problem that is happening in the city, I was shocked at what I was seeing and thought people should see it.”
Hmm. Could beggers in Nigeria be doing this too?
