People should not take lightly the HIV tests before marriage thing because it's very important. This woman met a man in her 30s and they had no sex before marriage. On their wedding night they met and she received it freely from him.
Read below:

A woman has claimed her husband gave her HIV on their wedding night when they had sex for the first time.
She said she unknowingly carried the virus for eight years, even getting pregnant and giving birth to the couple's child while infected.
The mother, speaking anonymously to Mamamia, revealed the shocking moment she realised her husband had been playing 'Russian roulette' with her and their baby.
The woman, who is believed to be Australian, was a single mother in her 30s when she met and fell in love with her husband.

They soon married and held-off from having sex until the night of their wedding.

Once married, and after becoming pregnant, she said the relationship fell apart as the

husband became controlling and violent.
Eight years after their separation, she discovered he had infected her with HIV when she began losing weight, her hair started falling out and her nails became infected.
'I didn't realise just how sick I was. I'd been living with HIV for nine years,' she told Mamamia.
The one, small silver lining of the shock diagnosis was that her young child had not contracted the virus, even though she had breastfed him as an infant.
When she confronted her ex-partner about his reckless behaviour he simply hung up the phone and the pair have not spoken since.

Stupid man, just imgine him hanging the phone on her?

Be careful people:
HIV is a contagious virus that causes the onset of AIDS.
AIDS - or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome - is a failure of the immune system, which means the body is easily overwhelmed by cancer and infections.
An estimated 27,000 people are infected with HIV in Australia.
19 per cent of transmissions come through heterosexual sex, 70 per cent come through sex between men.
The rest of transmissions come through injecting drugs or cannot be determined.

  1. I'm wondering why ante natal care/tests didn't reveal her status before delivery.

  2. Honestly I was about to say the same
