A man who suspected his wife of beating their infant son was horrified when CCTV caught her in the act of abusing the toddler.
The worried husband had installed the security cameras in their home in India after growing suspicious of his partner’s behaviour towards their child.
But far from easing his anxiety the shocking footage tragically proved him right. The video clip from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh shows the woman shaking and smacking the tot as they sit on a bed.
She initially appears to be playing with him but quickly pushes him forcefully down on his front and slaps his back repeatedly.
The infant remains motionless as she rains blows on his backside – suggesting he is perhaps used to such abuse.

She then proceeds to vigorously shake the boy, even grabbing him aggressively by the neck.
‘I suspected that my wife beats our son, hence got a CCTV camera installed [in the house],’ the husband said.
The man, who has not been identified, has alerted authorities.
