A Nigerian Blog about Nigerian Food, Relationships, Marriage, Family, Parenting, Fashion, Lifestyle, and Entertainment News.
"Abeg all ya talking should channel dis energy to more outrageous and destructive happenings in Our Country Nigeria"So old men marrying children is not "outrageous and destructive" enough for you. Do you mind sharing with us how many children you've also raped under the guise of "marriage." Abeg take as many of these \_ \_ \_ as would fit your pedophile yansh.
I share your view about misplaced priorities especially among the Nigerian youth, but you really can't blame them. The only thing we read today is whatever on Facebook or Twitter, some can't even spell Marriage. But no matter how clueless, shallow, misguided as we might be, there's no justification whatsoever, either legal, moral, cultural or religious for such an act. Nobody should be that barbaric in the 21st century, let alone a serving Senator, and he dares justify it with Islam. You should see this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pooQFiaCFAI). I cried when I saw it on BBC long ago, and trust me, I don't cry.
@ poster, you can make your points without being rude.
Whether you like it or not, child marriage is evil. After you and your cohorts have finished looting you look for babies to rape as the latest form of perversion. We succeeded in forcing you to pass the anti gay bill that's how we will force you to rescind this. Even cocks don't do chicks .
I read this same thing as a comment on SDKs blog
Sigh. Ignorance at its peak.
Poster please, 'its high time' goes with past tense. Maybe its high to you went back to school.
Nigerian Youths are the biggest hypocrites ever. We know how to bash others and point fingers and tell them a thousand things that's wrong with their lives, yet, we are worse off. This one is forming vex. yimu! You want to make a change? Start by putting ur name and a face to the name. Create a blog and get ppl to read. Organise seminars, rallies and programs that will enable ppl understand what you are all about. Start a movement. Make YOUR own voice heard. Do something that will really have an impact. It's not by forming vex on blogs.Nigerian youths this, nigerian youths that..from the comfort of ur bed room! Get up and do something. when you stand up for something others can comfortably follow U. Right now, U r just anonymous and in a few hours time ur write up will be forgotten...
Na ASUU I blame. If not that ASUU is on strike, u wouldn't be suffering dementia enough to type this. Please use this time to READ. You clearly own a blackberry but don't know how to research. You are even more ignorant for thinking this a youth movement. Ignoramus oshi
Where a man stands depends on where his MIND sits! Change your mindset today pray for Nigeria!
Please!!! Poster I beg to differ. This is not common sense in application here, but a mere propaganda aimed at swaying our attention from the issue on ground,to questioning the ratio-decidendi of our actions as it pertains this war against the evil of child marriage. Which to me is not out of place or poor in timing.I saw this comment on LIB and wished I had the opportunity of engaging this person in an intellectual debate. Initially I was moved to see reasons with this individual, but on the longrun I found out that this individual is only being witty and mischievous, and he endedup sounding like one Senator Yerima and a proponent of this evil.If this individual had argued along the catechism of this law, which the clauses seemed somewhat confusing, I would have agreed with him that the Nigerian youth maybe shallow in reasoning. But for him to tag this noble course a misplacement of priority and then calling the Nigerian youth stupid,is just a fallacy of argumentum ad hominem.I've seen the Nigerian youths speak with one voice against:CorruptionFuel subsidy removalGay marriageBoko haram menace etc.So what is wrong in them speaking against this evil, which doesn't require a visit to the ivory tower or the four walls of the classroom to deduce its ugly impact to the development of our future leaders.Let us live that posterity will be fair with us after. ~BONARIO~says so via NOKIA3310
I strongly advise that you press RESET on your mindset, way of thinking and your actual actions. Try and utilise this strike in doing some reading too. You're lagging in that area. Should the strike still be on by August, I advise that you join the August March being planned. You're welcome. Don't mention.
Yawns and farts @ poster

y'all need to see Linda Ikeji's blog for her response to the gist going around. Aunty Eya you need to learn one or two things from that post, all I can say is dat Linda is a blogger extraordinaire
Kai!Ahdaisy idi baaaaaaaad.lol @yimu ,see finishing anyway am enjoying this new you.keep it up
@Anon, I had to visit her blog for the 1st time in many months... I learnt from that post.I think my favored aunty eya should learn from that post "the aspect of ignoring whatever ppl say or do". I was sad yesterday when I realized aunty eya deleted the bickering comments within Ahdaisy, Uche and other bloggers on the chidiebere post which was against my advice of making this blog an open one irrespective of race or creed. My comments wasn't deleted, but I felt really bad... When the blog becomes too sensored perfection becomes the sole aim, flexibility and realness is dead.I believe every1 should answer his or her name in whatever they do, even on blogs. Nothing can be perfect, no matter how you try as long as there's traffic here there would be bickering. Linda makes money irrespective of who's name goes down the drain even celebs. If it could be stopped I'll so appreciate it.I must say again... I felt so bad when those comments where deleted... I only spoke now cos that linda post gave me a reason to.Nuff'Said

Loving bona, ace nd ahdaisy comentz, making brain...@poster,u berra watch ur vexin before u develop hyper BP,there are better ways of passing across a message than being RUDE nd formin anger....if you wanna give out your SIX year old daughter for marriage isnt our business, what we dont want is for it to be turned into LAW by force, have you heard of VVF??? I guess no!!,so stop trying to explain ur insufficiency...#Thelma#
If I were to suggest to you Aunty Eya; I know u have favourites on your blog but treat every comment like its coming from an annonymous, only reply to comments that require clarification on certain issues or post and don't play mediator for your readers who see your blog as a place to cuss out themselves. Be strengthen by the grace of God
Ahdaisy did u just call yourself a youth??did u just open your mouth and say "we know how to..."Hell no boo,ur way too old to be a youth.
