Dear Ladies, Can I Wear This?

Empress

Because of my body size ( Not fat o) I am just not slim and not very big. Just that full African body. I don’t buy full or big jewellery for myself and when I get them as gifts, they wait for when I will wear, sometimes for years and when it becomes obvious
I won’t use them, I forward to those who’ll appreciate.

Empress used to be slim, but now has a full body and see how full jewelry looks so good on her. She shared this pic today and when I saw, it got me thinking that maybe big jewelry is OK for full bodied women. I always thought that they only suit very slim women. Especially large earrings. I think they go very well with small figures and small fine faces.

How would I look on this jewelry?
Empress is my very good friend’s younger sis so please no cussing today o. ( If you like call am famzing it’s the truth)

Eya on her lovely Avon Earrings

Sorry I’m still working on doing a professional makeup and taking beautiful pics please. If you bash, I send Lucinda and Eze….yi after you. #Dasall

  2. Aunty Eya pls wear o han han, accessories has a way of transforming once look in a good way of cos if nicely done.Personally I follow 2 rules when I decide to wear jewellery or accessories.
    1) When wearing big chunky necklace or neckpiece I stick to stud-like earrings, no dangling earrings cos ul look too busy.
2)when I decide to wear massive earrings especially wen rockin my corn row braids I stick with just d earrings and nothing on my neck.
So its big neckpiece wt small earrings and big earrings no neckpiece, less is more. But hey that's my preference we vary…..

I agree with Alero though.. There should be a balance so it won't be too much

  5. Eya you have to do something about your upward eyebrows. They age you a lot and it looks very archaic.
You can check some YouTube tutorials on how to get the perfect arch.

  6. You see how your blog is getting boring with your recent antics??
You lost a lot of followers when you started showing that favoritism stuff and silly things like tracking anonymous comments

  7. There are days I go out without any jewelry, not even stud earrings. And there are days when I go all out…gypsy style. It all depends on the ocassion, my mood and my outfit.

I love statement jewelry but I am not a fan of those made of beads like the one Empress has on, I prefer the metallic ones.

Aunty Eya, wear whatever you like. Just stand in front of the mirror and if you like what you see, own it! And you are good to go!!!

  8. If its done by a professional make up artist, it will suit your face. There are perfect brows for every face.

  9. I think those made of beads are usually more beautiful on plus-sized women. Aunty Eya wear whatever suits your style but not like the one Empress has on sha cos it's old skool.#IMO.
