All Nigerian Blogs And Bloggers cannot Be The Same

Eya, what is wrong with you? Linda does not eat garri you eat garri.
Eya what is your problem? Linda has a chef you cook your meals.
Eya, don’t you want to succeed as a blogger? Linda does not sleep, you sleep
Eya, are you alright? Linda gates comment you gate today, free tomorrow.
Eya, don’t you want sponsors? Linda does not delete insults, you delete insults
Eya, why do you cook with
Nigerian pots when Linda cooks with German products
Eya, your traffic is going to reduce because you don’t have a good camera.
Eya, why only one post today when others post 25 topics per day?”

Just this one Eya o, if all Nigerian bloggers become Linda, or Ladun or Uche, what now happens to “ME’?

I still read and enjoy LIB because what is there is different from what we have on wives connection blog.
Today, I read a few other blogs because I needed something different from the norm.

Why is there so much comparison of this baby blog to International LIB? Do you realize that when our LIB was one, she passed through a teething stage?

Should all Nigerian/ African blogs become LIB? If we do, won’t monotony suffocate our readers?

I can’t remember changing my name, I am still Eya, and I still do Eya…

I know that even identical twins do things differently and that doesn’t mean that they both won’t succeed.
In real life, and as one who believes that the race is not to the swift, a strong believer in “every good and perfect gift comes from God Almighty”

As mortal men, we have our different standards and formulae for success but we must not forget that except the lord watches over a city, we the watchmen labor in vain. It is neither by strength nor smartness. I plant, we all water, but growth comes from the Lord.

Success comes only from God. Haven’t we seen people who work like elephants yet harvest like ants while others work very little yet reap an elephant’s share? Life is not always the way we look at it. Slow runners also get to the finishing line remember

Every Nigerian blog is unique in it’s own way, that is why we can still hop from LIB, to LLB, to BellaNaija, to SDK, to Royal Priesthood, to Brimetime, to Diary of a pleasant heart, to Men’s court, to Romance meets Life, to Femmelounge, Nelly’s blog, to Nairaland, to Blushes and Dimples, to Naijamum in London, to Naija pidgin English blog, to the salt chronicles, to A slice of Life, to Rhapsody Phoenix, to Virtuosity, Dressed, to Shallie’s Purple Beehive, to Dobby’s signature, to All Nigerian Recipes, to eyerenezz, to Sykiks,to etc, etc, etc ( hand dey pain me already).

If we all start blogging the same, then there would be no need to hop around.
Variety is the spice of life.

  3. Truth is, everyone has a standard for everything and they want every other thing to conform to that standard.

Just cos you like 'a', everyone or everything shud be like 'a'. It is wrong. I respect individuality so much. I recognise the fact that everyone is different and they have the right to express themselves however they deem fit… as long as they dnt infringe on the right of others, insult others, or cause harm to them.

We shud learn to accept others the way they are. Learn to love yourself so that you can love others. There is no point trying to change the next person to be like us…cos every human is unique.

This is the problem with most human relationships. Many do not understand why people are different and resent them for not conforming to our expectations. If we truly learn to see the good in others, to see that everyone is a part of us and we are all connected in one way or the other, we will all be better for it.

We shud learn that everyone is a product of so many influences and except you have the exact same influences in time and space, you have no right condemning anyone. Just seek for ways to genuinely help the person if the person is wrong…or take a hike! lol

Aunty Eya, do whatever you like with ur blog. Just make sure you are ok with whatever decision you make, at the time you make it. Ppl are forever going to dictate to you what you should and shouldnt do. Do what is in ur mind at that time and damn what anyone wants to say.

  7. Aunty Eya,plz stop being emotional about pple's comment, dats what dey want to get to u,as long as u must remain on the limelight pple must always say negative things about u.
U have to learn how not to give a f**k(forgive my french this is not LIB#rme#).
The reason I say whatever I want how I want it on blogs and even in real life is that I wouldn't care whether am insulted afterwards cos my main aim is acheived, which is passing my message!
Aunty Eya pls develop thick skin cos life is hard and pple are harsh.

  9. Hi Eya, look at it this way. You're a mom to a dozen kids, some will make you mad, others 'll just give you a good reason to smile. But in all you still love them all. That's what bloggers do, love them all. We still appreciate you. Keep the good work going. PHYLLIS E.

  15. @Deborah, I've been thinkin of sending something food related oo, but the wahala be say I nor know wetin to even cook… May be I'll try my native esan "Black soup" made from scent leave and pepper soup spices… Very lovely something!

@Our surest and dearest Aunty Eya… I think this post just summarizes what blogging is all about… It really has to be "YOU" expressing yourself and your passion in the best way you can.

    It's spontaneous… When you don't feel like posting a thing you shouldn't.
LIB, LLB & SDK have lost the blog ideology and are now operating as news and gossip vendors!

@Bona, suya ke… Lol, you should av just shown us the process of soaking garri with groundnut. I think will be much more easier than suya.

  24. Somebody say she likes drama and when u bring it on they complain
Ahdaisy, u are a control freak when u feel u are not in charge u get scared and start making mistakes and like I said when I first commented under Ezewanyi I said u were tired of pretending cos u portrayed urself to be here is a far cry from who u are in *real* life d truth is that u are just like me,u like drama, controversies u also love supporters now that is where we are different I like to run my own show I don't care what mr a or z things so my advice to u is don't start things u can't finish well
On ur farewell epistle lol u think without u WC will collapse lolllz na lie jor infact new people are coming real people who stomach for real drama like lucinda and co however y don't u piss me off by staying back and let d drama begin cos believe it or not u are very lovable so Adaeze nwanne Ezewanyi don't go stay back
This is Ezewanyi,o ka ma lu,nwanyi mma,a nu kpo lu nku n'eju onu.peace

  25. Anon 2:25, like u said, it is her blog. If she wants to 'show favouritism', what is that to you? It is her blog. If u dont like it, go elsewhere. I m sure u dont read all blogs on d net. Stop being on Eya's case. Kilode?

  26. It's your blog so you should do what you want with it.
Maybe you should draw up some guidelines to help you stick to what you want and not what people say.
It is good to take advice but when there is too much of it and when they are contrasting in nature, confusion sets in.
