Unpeeled Boiled Yam With Fried Pepper Sauce

Unpeeled Boiled Yam With Fried Pepper Sauce. Boiled, fried or roast yam with hot pepper sauce is a meal for pepper lovers. Boiled plantain, dodo

and boiled or baked irish potatoes can also be served this way. I am not much of a pepper fan, so this meal showed me pepper. Because of the taste of it, I couldn’t stop eating, at the end of the day, my nose became so sweaty and

watery it had to visit the bathroom.

This pepper sauce can be served with any dish, what you do is scoop and just add the quantity you want. It is also my way of preserving fresh pepper for as long as I want.

Ingredients For Yam With Fried Pepper Sauce:

  • Sliced un-peeled yam
  • fresh red pepper
  • seasoning cubes
  • onion
  • vegetable oil
  • water

 Cooking Procedure:

  • Wash and sliced yam is boiled with a lil salt
  • Pepper is ground with seasoning cubes and chopped onion
  • The mixture is put in cold oil and then placed on the cooker.
  • It is left to boil for 10 minutes or as long as it takes for your pepper to taste cooked.
  • Serve with any dish.
For this quantity of pepper, I ground with six knorr cubes, and added two cubes again while frying because I wanted a very hot spicy taste.
