Dodo Gizzard With White Rice Sent In By Deborah Bala

 white rice served with dodo gizzard
 Ingredients:
  • Gizzard
  • ripe plantain 
  • palm oil
  • white rice
  • seasoning
  • ground red pepper
  • green pepper
  • salt
  • onion
  • vegetable oil
  • water

 ripe plantain
 ripe plantain that has been peeled
 diced ripe plantain
 frying diced ripe plantain
 red pepper being fried in palm oil
 cooking plantain
 fried plantain
 diced gizzard
 cooked gizzard
 dodo gizzard is ready
 a serving of boiled rice with diced dodo gizzard

  2. Dodo and gizzard? I dnt think is a good combination. Why not do d gizzard sauce and then fry d dodo separate? Anty Eya, wat do u think pls?

    4. I think you should try it! If you fry the plaintain you won't get the same taste, also some people prefer to eat it as porridge without the rice, if you fry it separately you can't achieve that.

  14. Hi anty Eya! So sorry my internet was off! I actually emailed the procedure, guess something went wrong.first peel the plantain and dice it, then fry in vegetable oil, don't let it fry for long because we don't want it becoming like plantain chips. Then wash and season the gizzard( u can dice it while its fresh or after cooking). Fry ground pepper in red oil, then add crayfish maggi n salt. Then add the already fried plantain, keep turning so that it doesn't burn and the pepper can get into the plantain. You then add the gizzard and the stock from the gizzard! Cover for some minutes and dodo gizzard is ready! Yipppeeeee
