Goshhh!!!!!! i luve dodo :D...Simple and nice!
ReplyDeleteDodo and gizzard? I dnt think is a good combination. Why not do d gizzard sauce and then fry d dodo separate? Anty Eya, wat do u think pls?
ReplyDeleteU shld try it first. Its simply wonderful
DeleteI tried it at a wedding and it is simply delicious. Just try it first, then decide what you think
DeleteI have also tried this before, it was divine. Delicious!!!
Deletewww.spynaija.blogspot.com
I think you should try it! If you fry the plaintain you won't get the same taste, also some people prefer to eat it as porridge without the rice, if you fry it separately you can't achieve that.
DeleteI once tried dis recipe and it is the bom.com....*mouth watering*
ReplyDeleteDis is amazing! I'm so certain it would be tasty n very chewy too! I think i can put 1 and 2 togeda from d pictures but post d recipe oooo,Pls..... Dis is my sunday lunch for sure! Welldone!

ReplyDeleteDis one looks powerful o.
Am off to the lab(kitchen) for practicals....but Aunty Eya,I don't understand the step by step way of cooking it,pls can u explain?
Deborah, can you please give us a brief step by step procedure?
DeleteHi anty Eya! So sorry my internet was off! I actually emailed the procedure, guess something went wrong.first peel the plantain and dice it, then fry in vegetable oil, don't let it fry for long because we don't want it becoming like plantain chips. Then wash and season the gizzard( u can dice it while its fresh or after cooking). Fry ground pepper in red oil, then add crayfish maggi n salt. Then add the already fried plantain, keep turning so that it doesn't burn and the pepper can get into the plantain. You then add the gizzard and the stock from the gizzard! Cover for some minutes and dodo gizzard is ready! Yipppeeeee
ReplyDeleteI am Ecstatic!!!...thank God for this blog oo..chai!..i can taste this one already...uhmm i was thinking...adding a little iru (locust beans) should make it divine!! *fainting*..lol..i havent tried but i can smell and taste it already..hahahaha...Debby and aunty Eya what do you think?
ReplyDeleteI made this for my husband,by the time he was through with showing me how much he loved it,I have a strong feeling my birth control coil shifted*wink*
