- sausages ( frankfurts or chicken franks)
- vegetable oil
- hot dog bread
- bread knife
- mayonnaise
- mustard
- ketchup
- Lettuce
If you are adding veggies, then add the washed lettuce before slotting in the cooked sausage.

- Bring sausages out of the freezer, drop in a bowl of water.and allow to defrost/thaw
- Fry lightly in a pan with vegetable oil, grill or even boil sausages
- heat bread a little in an oven to make it warm and softer
- Cut bread open with a bread knife
- rub mayonnaise or salad cream or margarine on the bread
- Slot in the sausage
- Add the mustard and ketchup
- Serve with a glass of fruit juice or wrap in foil for lunch boxes
I can't eat mustard, so I am good with just ketchup. I add vegetables and mustard for hubby while the kids prefer it with just ketchup.
