Happy New year and Thank You

It’s a happy New Year, so we dance

boogie boogie, it’s a happy New Year

I can’t thank you enough for making me a blogger. The only reason I still write and publish is because you read and I see the page views increasing.

This blog was born on the 30th of
May 2012, it started like a joke, but when I saw that you read what I wrote and even found time to leave comments, I began to update. In October, I think I hit the glass ceiling when I lost interest in blogging and could not even come up with publishable posts. I thought of deleting the blog and disappearing, thought of just abandoning and never visiting my blog again. After a few weeks, I Google reasons people quit blogging, read and that same day, I was able to post again.
After that discouragement and encouragement, you rekindled my zeal and enthusiasm with comments like never before. Thank you!

When I traveled to my village for Christmas and New Year, could not leave comments on your blog, you  did not abandon my young blog, but continued to leave comments. I could not and even now cannot gain access to other blogs when I try to leave comments, yet you  still visit and leave comments without minding. Thank you!

Sometimes you leave comments expecting a reply which never comes, yet you still find time to visit again. Thank you for all the encouragement and follow. Thank you for subscribing to my blog. Thank you for trying out my recipes and leaving feedback for us. Thank you for the mails and for believing in me.

btw,This night  has been declared a NO BEDTIME NIGHT for my girls, they are so excited about staying awake into 2013. One has just fallen asleep on the couch while her sisters are still wide awake. They spent the evening dancing to some good music while I continued to check on their New Year’s Cake baking at the back.

I  pray that 2013 will be a prosperous and peaceful year for us all.
Happy New Year!
Fun on new year’s eve (dancing time)

  1. Amen to your prayer Eya, and for yourself included. I feel I have come to know you quite well through blogging and it doesn't matter how many posts we put up or how often, it is the friendship that continues that matters most. Happy new year to you and your family, may it be a blessed one.
